Location

Located on the beautiful and peaceful North Sound, this hotel is just minutes away from 7 Mile Beach. The tourist centre of George Town is approximately 4 km from the family-friendly beach hotel. The shops of Camana Bay are a 5-minute drive and the shops of West Bay are around 10 minutes by car. Other nearby places of interest include Stingray City (20 km away), Pedro Castle (40 km away) and Boatswain's Beach (20 km away).

Facility

The apartment hotel has a lift and features 176 non-smoking rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

The outdoor pool complex, which includes a children's area, makes for relaxing swimming. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Various dining options are available, including a dining room, a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive is offered as a catering option. A continental breakfast gives guests many delicious reasons to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic beverages are included.

    We stayed at the Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman for one night before a trip to Little Cayman and we very much would have liked to stay longer.The resort grounds are lovely and well-kept. The room was large and very comfortable. The air-conditioner was quiet and kept the room nice and cool. We enjoyed the large swimming pool and both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The meals were delicious and plentiful, especially the mango pancakes. The prices were reasonable, Above all, the entire staff was friendly and helpful.

    If you’re looking for a super quiet spot and don’t mind a bit of a trek, this place is fine—but you definitely need a game plan for getting around.The "Be Aware" List:• Location: It is isolated. It's almost a mile off the main road, so walking to catch a bus or taxi isn't happening.• The Resort Shuttle: It’s handy but has "work hours" (10 AM–5 PM, Mon–Sat). Pro tip: Make a reservation at the desk. We hopped on once without one and felt like second-class citizens being told to sit in the back! • Taxis: Download the Cigo app—it’s great for checking rates so you don’t get overcharged. Avoid the Island Go app unless you want to pay Uber-style surge prices. Also, get a driver’s number early because finding a ride after 6 PM is like a scavenger hunt.Food & Rooms:• Dining: Only one restaurant on-site. The food is good, but they’re a bit stingy—they tried to charge me a buck for a tiny packet of jelly!• The Suite: Ours had a full kitchen, which was great, but check the dishwasher immediately. Ours was full of dirty dishes from the last guest.• DIY Repairs: We had to fix our own toilet flapper and the ice machine was a no-go. Not a dealbreaker, but just a heads-up.The Traffic Warning: Whatever you do, do not try to head back to the hotel between 4:45 PM and 6:15 PM. The "main drag" turns into a parking lot. A 20-minute ride took us over an hour.The Vibe: Super friendly staff, lots of local chickens running around, and very chill if you just want to hide out. Just watch out for the potholes on the way in—taxis hate them!     Stayed 14 glorious nights at the Holiday Inn and enjoyed every minute. Had an upper floor room over looking the pool. Room was spacious and clean with fridge and microwave. Restaurant was good and prices relative. Nice breakfasts !
