Location

The family-friendly city hotel has a waterfront location overlooking the sea. Its location in the 'Barrio Brazil' district allows guests to enjoy the most lively and entertaining area in the city, with numerous restaurants, bars and nightlife spots. The district is also home to modern commercial and industrial areas with many shops and businesses based here. The beach hotel is located 5 minutes from the centre of Antofagasta and around 3 km from the public beach resort. Guests will find links to the public transport network around 1 km from the business hotel and C. Carlos Oviedo bus station is approximately 5 km away. The hotel provides direct access to several of the most important copper mines in Chile and other nearby places of interest include the Huanchaca ruins (7 km) and Mejillones (60 km). The airport is around a 20-minute drive away.

Facility

114 rooms, including 4 junior suites, 57 single rooms and 52 double rooms, are located on 12 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The hotel offers a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a microwave and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has non-smoking rooms.

    I was hesitant about this place as I couldn't find a nicer hotel. As I read good reviews of this place, I decided to give this a shot since location is more important. Since we just came down from the volcano, is a relieve to be in a hotel with a proper bed. Entrance is like any 4 star hotel, front desk is helpful for their system is hopeless. We quickly jumped onto the app to book for extra nights while in the car on the way to Antofagasta as we were down from the volcano camp 2 days earlier. Upon reaching, they said one of the room was canceled and their rooms are full as we didn't turn up (we just booked through the app 2hrs prior!). Anyway, it was finally sorted after my husband spent another 30min. there. All the staff here are very pleasant and helpful. I was impressed by the cafe here. We were so hungry for dinner when reach yet as we were super tired, we need to eat something. Their cafe looks like some sad American cafe but their food is good! I was so happy with their salmon main course while my husband's shrimp salad was very good too. They have a 24hr gym though only 1 rusty treadmill is working, is good enough for some cardio. No water is provided in the room but you can top up water in the gym. Location is great as it is in front of the sea. View is lovely and walk ~ 15-20minutes you can reach the big mall. MU Grill resto (best steak!) is only 5min. away. Breakfast is basic but at least they have some fruits and yoghurt. For the small price we paid, I'm very happy with the service and prompt room servicing of the room in the morning.

    I stayed the second time at the Antofagasta Holiday Inn. The rooms are spacious and if you want to have an open window during the night, I recommend the rooms oriented toward the town. The rooms toward the sea have a nice seaview, but are noisy because of the main road along the coast. The bed and bedding is fairly new and comfortable. The brakfast buffet is good and always reststuffed. The staff is very nice and attentive.The 1 star deduction is because of very weak internet. It is not reliable. This needs improvement.

    The hotel is in poor condition, with old equipment and in need of renovation. As soon as I arrived, a guest was complaining about the air conditioning not working and his room was a greenhouse. I asked for a quiet room and they gave me one facing the avenue (although my colleague who arrived with me and checked in later got one with less noise). The sound of trucks going to the port enters your room, which shakes (the windows are not soundproof), the air conditioning stops working and the room smells of mold. Choose another option, as a bad stay at this hotel is guaranteed. I do not recommend.     Comfortable rooms, very clean, excellent breakfast , adequate parking and very good staff attention. It is well located, but it is a bit expensive for its level. Anyway, I recommend it when you visit Antofagasta.

    I use this whenever I am in Anto as it's convenient and reasonably priced. It's a fine place to spend the night and walking distance to the best restaurant in Anto, Mu Grill House. Otherwise it's not much to mention. It does have a nice breakfast but I am usually on the road before it's open.
