  Great Stay with Outstanding Service

  We had a very pleasant stay at Geotel Calama. The receptionist was extremely kind and professional, making check-in smooth and welcoming. A very nice touch was the complimentary welcome cocktail offered to us at the restaurant.The rooms are very well equipped and comfortable, perfect for resting. We had an early morning flight, and the hotel kindly arranged a taxi for us during the night. Despite the very early hour, the receptionist went the extra mile and prepared breakfast bags for us to take, which we really appreciated.Overall, excellent service and attention to detail.   I believe Geotel might be the best hotel in Calama. The check-in staff were lovely and friendly, and the concept of a hotel spread across a few buildings is quite amusing. Overall, everything was clean and well-maintained. However, our room felt a bit cold and lacked personality, which I can overlook. The biggest downside for me was the noise; the doors are poorly insulated, so you can easily hear your neighbors talking in their rooms. The staircase also amplifies sound like a concert hall. Breakfast was a bit disappointing for vegetarians, as the only option was eggs—imagine our surprise when we found ham mixed in!   Stop over Calama during family trip to Chile

  Only one night here September 2024 (flew into El Loa Airport, Calama late & didn't want to drive the Atacama at night). Really comfortable & clean rooms with mini self catering space (you'd need to bring your own provisions). Nice bar and restaurant open til quite late, good breakfast, secure parking. Helpful cheerful staff.   Good choice to stay at Calama

  We had no idea a place to stay, we liked that we found on picture so we take the change, it was a great place for resting. Next time to come north of chile so we already have where to stay. Check-in nice and easy, quiet and clean room.   Excellent food, produce was always fresh and presentation was always the highest quality. The staff were awesome and provided great service, always going above and beyond. Laundry service was excellent, which saved us alot of time not having to worry about it.
