    Breakfast with an ocean view

    Lovely hotel. Close to everything in Hanga Roa. Good value for money. Rooms were clean and large enough. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No noise issues. Pool was v cold (but we were there in late May, so not surprising). Decent breakfast with a wonderful view of the ocean was a highlight.

    This is a nice hotel with a good location by the ocean and with short walks to downtown and to the harbor. It is not fancy, more island-like, but functional and clean. It has a garden with flowers, chickens and a cat or two. Also a pool. Welcoming and helpful front desk staff. Our bungalow room had a small fridge. The air-conditioning unit was very quiet. You may need to (carefully) reorient the air stream away from straight down on the bed. They recommend filling your water bottles in the lobby. The good (and handy) restaurant includes a porch overlooking the water (and a street), great for sunrise breakfasts and sunset drinks/dinners. The breakfast buffet is fairly extensive. Go when it opens at 8:00 AM to snag a porch table. The extensive lunch/dinner menu is via QR code which needs a decent wifi connection and some tapping to navigate. The restaurant hosts a Rapa Nui singing and dancing show, highly recommended. Good talent and high enthusiasm, blend of Polynesian flair and Rapa Nui traditional music.

    Stay at Hotel Taha Tai when visiting Easter Island!

    When visiting the wonderful Easter Island I highly recommend Hotel Taha Tai! I picked this hotel out from a tour book' recommendation and it was a smart decision. Hotel AC worked find. Room was great. Restaurant was facing the Western ocean with great views while eating. Breakfast buffet was great and bountiful so you got started with your daily island exploration ready to go. Staff was very friendly and the pool was nice. Can't say enough about the place. I stayed five nights.

    We loved our stay. Big room, huge bed, efficient aircon, lots of storage space, housekeeping was efficient, very qu ie (until the coughing person came into the room next to us), beautiful communal areas and pool, excellent location, good breakfast, WiFi ok, and the restaurant overlooking the ocean was great. t

    Great little place with friendly staff and great service. Nicely situated 10 minute walk from downtown, a nice grocery store less than two-minute's walk away and just a hundred yards or so from tje Pacific Ocean!!! Nice rooms in the main building and lots more on the complex. Beautiful pool, decent breakfast and nice bar. Beautiful, well cared for grounds and wake to roasters crowing every morning.
