A relaxing hotel overlooking the lake, offering cosy rooms and very friendly staff. The indoor pool and spa make it ideal after a long day exploring the area.

Noise.

The hotel has a lakefront location in a newly overdeveloped resort town.There is traffic noise for much of the night, varied by the passage of drunken revellers.Closing the window is undesirable at least on the upper floors,because of the usual heat buildup in multistorey concrete hotels. However ,the traffic noise does at least mask the vibration from thumping dance music originating from the bar terrace.This seems quite far away at street level,but the masonry transmits noise well. It would be beneficial for the guests to at least supply fans,if aircon is felt to be only needed rarely, and to cut the power to those who are keeping me awake at 50 minutes after midnight.

Stayed here several days! The location is beautiful, overlooking the lake and volcano, right on the edge of the main downtown area. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, bed was great, shower pressure fantastic and the wifi was wrong. The staff were all friendly, but few spoke English ( which is my issue not theirs).The restaurant on site has a lovely breakfast and the wait staff is super nice despite the language barrier.My only negative is that is was noisy. 2 of the 3 nights we were here they hosted some sort of graduation party and all we could hear while trying to sleep is the base from the music and people cheering. And on the third night a working was chopping metal on and off until 11:30pm. Try to avoid lower floors and asked not to be put in the rooms right next to their parking lot or convention area.
