    Giving this hotel at 5.3 hinge rating - Scale of 0-5Wow I though the last location we were in on Lake Nahuel Huapi, San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina had some great views, but this one is an eye candy showstopper, with a 560 square mile lake, 900 ft deep!Turns out around 200 German immigrants settled here in 1858 within a migration promotion from the Chile government. Today everything has that atmosphere of Germany especially in the buildings arcature which Tom Loves.There are all sorts of city celebrations going on and we watch groups of girls in long boats within rowing competitions.     Unimpressive Radisson Hotel

    An unimpressive hotel,myself and my wife booked an accessible room and bathroom shower to facilitate her mobility difficulties and on arrival, the phone was broken as was the safe and there were no towels supplied.The latter two were corrected ,but we could only phone reception through whatsapp.The pool was very small and the gym poorly equipped , ie little or no free weights or weight machines.On the third night of our stay, the toilet cistern leaked and flooded the bathroom and we had to move to another room which did not have an accessible shower .We ate in the hotel , and while the food and wine were good, the staff in the restaurant did not write down our orders and some of our side orders were forgotten and not delivered on time.I requested a meeting with the manager on our departure, making the request the evening before departure, on checking out the following morning,I was informed that the manager could not meet me.Following our arrival at our next destination, we noticed that a tin of Argentinian choclate (that we had purchased in Bariloche and kept in our suitcase), was missing , and we concluded that it was stolen from our case in Radisson Puerto Varas.Overall, a disappointing experience.     This hotel is right on the lake front and if your lucky (and we were) you'll get a great view of the lake and the volcano oppersite. The bar and lounge areas were good and the location makes it easy to walk all round the town and along the water front.Breakfast was reasonable and eaten oppersite the volcanoes so what's not to like!Only had the one night here but could happily stayed another night.

    I stayed here for one night with my husband as part of a tour. The room had a lovely view over the lake and we were lucky to be able to see the volcano from our window in the morning. Rooms are a nice size. There were a few lightbulbs needing changing and no plug for the bath, so I did nearly score 3 for the upkeep. Location is great as it’s right in the centre and on the lake front. We ate in the restaurant and although it’s a little more expensive than eating elsewhere, the quality of the food was excellent. My husband said his steak was the best he’d had and I had a lasagna which was made with beef strips and was delicious.

    Super stay, very kind staff, great breakfast and the lake view rooms are extremely comfortable and nice.We would definitely stay here again, we loved the town and wish we could be there right now.Breakfast was adequate given the price of the room
