  Convenient on paper, frustrating in practice

  We stayed at AC Hotel Santiago Cenco Costanera and unfortunately can't recommend it, especially for travelers coming from or going to the airport. The hotel is located inside a very busy mall, which makes getting around unnecessarily difficult. Uber won't pick up or drop off directly at the property, and even our taxi ended up dropping us off in an odd underground parking area instead of a proper entrance. For anyone traveling with luggage, this is a real headache.The staff experience didn't help. Front desk interactions felt cold and unwelcoming rather than warm or hospitable. Housekeeping was also an issue — staff routinely squeezed vacuum equipment past us in the hallway without any regard for personal space. The low point came when we were granted a 4pm late checkout, only to have staff start banging on our door starting at 3pm, interrupting a much-needed nap. Two housekeeping staff members then stood outside our door for an extended period doing nothing, which felt like a clear invasion of privacy.Breakfast was another disappointment — watery scrambled eggs two mornings in a row led us to give up on the included breakfast entirely and eat elsewhere for the rest of the stay. We are truly sorry that several aspects of your experience did not meet your expectations.Regarding transportation and access to the hotel, we understand that arriving with luggage can be challenging, particularly for guests traveling to or from the airport. We would like to clarify that, although the hotel is connected to Costanera Center, we do have a dedicated hotel entrance directly accessible from the mall parking area on level -2. There is also a designated drop-off area directly in front of the hotel, authorized by the Municipality of Providencia.Regarding Uber, this is unfortunately a service we cannot control. Uber is currently not a regulated transportation service in Chile, and individual drivers decide whether they will stop directly in front of the hotel. To make transportation easier for our guests, we offer shuttle services with an authorized taxi company, and our team is always available to assist with transportation arrangements.We are concerned by your comments regarding the service provided by our teams. Our guests should always feel welcomed and respected, and having your rest interrupted despite a confirmed 4:00 PM late checkout was certainly not the experience we intended to provide. We sincerely regret the discomfort this caused, particularly regarding your sense of privacy, and will review the situation with the teams involved as well as your Food and Beverage comments.   Very modern and relaxed vibe. Excellent location. Colocated in a skyscraper that has an outstanding selection of restaurants of all kinds of international food and budgets. Very helpful staff and great service. Convenient to low cost Santiago metro station. Highly recommend.

  American-style business hotel attached the an American-style shopping mall and supermarket. Hotel was quiet with Marriott amenities and very helpful front desk staff. Less than 10 minute walk to two different Metro stations (Tobalaba and Los Leones). Also about 15 minutes to the MUT in one direction and to a lively Providencia restaurant area in other direction. I would have preferred something less American and had no use for the mall, but the location was perfect for meeting friends, grabbing dinner after a long day, and hopping on Metro to sightsee.

  The location is close to restaurants, shopping and the hop on hop off bus.The staff were very accommodating. We had multiple reservations that they linked so we did not have to move rooms. They allowed early check in and assisted with securing transportation to the cruise port.

  Bottle water issue

  This is my first time visiting Santiago, and overall everyone we encountered has been very nice and friendly, which we truly appreciate.However, on our last day, asking for two additional bottles of water became unexpectedly complicated. After the gym, we had already finished the two bottles provided in the room earlier. When I requested two more, I was told the hotel only offers two bottles per day, and in the end, only one was given.As a Titanium member, I didn’t expect such a small request to become an issue. If providing two extra bottles of water would somehow make the hotel unsurvivable, then my apologies. Otherwise, it just felt unnecessary to turn something so minor into a point of resistance, especially given the otherwise positive experience. In addition, we offer complimentary filtered water at the gym for refilling reusable bottles, and bottled water is also available for purchase at the Front Desk for guests who may require additional quantities.
