    Caution! Awful hotel! Bancarrupt

    WARNING! Bankrupt hotel!We came in a group of 8 motorcyclists and what was supposed to be the cherry on top turned into a nightmare. Starting with check-in, which took over an hour and a half. The attendants, besides being very rude, were completely lost. When we finally got to the room, we noticed the shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers were empty. TV with no remote. No minibar (they were removed), no air conditioning. There's a floor fan (for a 5-star hotel, unacceptable!), the phone didn't work, and the key card demagnetized every single time, so we had to go to reception to reactivate it. The rooms are large and very good. At the pool, they force you to buy a swim cap. But they were dirty and full of dead bugs. We found a snake in the indoor pool area. To use the hot tub, you have to pay. Food was nothing special and expensive. We ordered breakfast boxes because our departure time was before breakfast opened. They forgot to prepare them and improvised with a bag (photo attached).All the staff, except the waiters, are rude and make no effort to help guests. One in particular, when we told her we had a problem, replied that she wasn't in the mood to solve anyone's problems. Unbelievable!Think VERY carefully before booking this hotel because it's expensive and you will definitely be stressed. A waiter told us the hotel went bankrupt and that each segment is run by separate companies. There's no chance we would recommend this hotel to another guest!

    Was amazing viewing but the pools area was under construction really bad only the hot top working but the guest only can be there for 15 minutes.What a bummer I understand that the pool crack and they need to fixed but seriously close the outside areas then we have access to the tinajas hot tub but the noise the dust was awful.

    The room is really nice looking despite the rust stain on the mirror that looked like blood and it kinda freaked us out. The shower head holder was also broken. The view from the balcony and the outdoor hot tubs is definitely the best part of the hotel. The hot tubs weren’t even hot. The food tasted absolutely horrible at every restaurant and the service from the staff was just ok, and only 2 or 3 of them spoke English. There was no availability for massages when we were there even though the hotel didn’t seem that busy. I would definitely not stay here again.

    Not an experience to "enjoy"

    When arriving to the hotel we had to wait for an hour in a line in front of the hotel to do our check-in. The service was very unfriendly and I wanted to pay with debit card but apparently that was impossible for them. We ended up paying with the Chilean credit card of my boyfriend, including taxes we should not have to pay since I'm not a Chilean resident and I made the booking. In our room was a beautiful bathtub that we couldn't use because the plug was missing. We called the servicedesk to ask them to bring the plug, but they never did. Also we had a sofa in our room which was full of white stains, clearly not cleaned. Then there was the breakfast, which was a disaster. They didn't have enough tables. When we got a table we had to wait 40 minutes for somebody to give us a drink. I was expecting a breakfast buffet, but probably due to COVID-19 it changed (at least that's understandable). We received tasteless scrambled eggs and avocado in tiny portions, we couldn't choose the flavour of yoghurt or the kind of breads. Also, we received only one juice and coffee. Nobody came to give us a refill and no option for cappuccino or whatsoever. All in all we had a terrible experience that wasn't even worth 2 stars. With exception of the room, everything was disappointing.

    I was looking forward to a break at this hotel; particularly attracted by the thought of the spa and some good food and wine. Sadly it disappointed in everything. When I enquired at 2pm about a massage, there were no appointments available for any time. This despite there being no obvious activity and few guests about. Staff were uninterested and offered no explanation of why (not due to any language barrier). The food and beverages in the spa are limited (not even fresh fruit juice). There is nowhere to comfortably take a coffee in the hotel, not even a lounge area. The only restaurant in the hotel was shut in the evening, so I had to take my dinner in the tacky oversized casino restaurant, which served a mediocre steak with poor service. The wine by the glass was ok though. Having witnessed the chaos of guests checking out, I decided to check out in the evening to save myself time the next day. This took over 45 minutes with their ludicrously complicated system and poorly trained staff. Sadly, it is obvious that this hotel is being badly mismanaged and desperately needs a good General Manager to turn it around. With one exception (a great service at check-in) the staff were universally disinterested and miserable. To be fair, I think I'd be pretty miserable if working in such a badly run hotel. A great disappointment.
