Very comfortable stay here. The rooms are large, bathrooms very clean and staff very helpful. Malik was friendly and he helped us store our bags after checkout which was great as we had a later flight.

Most humiliating experience in a hostel ever

    rating03 Apr 2024

I was kicked out to the street by the receptionist on Friday, April 5th at 1:15am while waiting for my transport right after dropping off a friend that was a guest of the hostel. The reason the receptionist gave me was that "I was not a guest of the hostel" and that "they have had very bad experiences in the past". I asked him to please let me wait at the reception because being left out alone on the street was quite unsafe especially at that time. The receptionist shouted and demanded that I leave and pushed me out of the hostel and closed the door. It's the most humiliating experience I've ever had in a hostel ever. I wish no one ever experiences something like this.

    Very good in Santiago

    rating20 Mar 2024

Real good hostal. We stayed in the private room with public bathroom. The room has been designed real good, compact. It has a tiny balcony which was good. The batrooms were clean but they are so very public so do not expect privacy at all. Breakfast was good. Common areas was good. And they have amazing terrace! What I recommend is terrace could be open on sundays too, since there is almost everything is closed in sundays in Santiago.Special thanks to Katharina❤️ lovely and informetive.

A Great Place to Stay in Santiago

    rating28 Dec 2023

Found this to be quite a good hostel. It gives a free buffet style breakfast (simple I mean there isn't bacon or anything, although you can take two boiled eggs), but cereal, juice, bread, that type of thing. Bed in dorm room was comfortable and you get a wooden locker you can put daypack, laptop and other more valuable parts of your luggage into, as long as you've bought a padlock (which you likely have numerous on your backpack anyway). Staff were friendly, the building seems very secure, showers were very good. Neighbourhood is close to a subway station (only a few minutes walk) which I used when coming from the airport (you catch a cheap public bus to a subway station first). Also next to a park with a big nautical water feature statue, and a short stroll to museums, art galleries and the old buildings area of town. The Funicular is about ten minutes walk away if you're planning on going up there, which links to the cable car at the top of the mountain. A supermarket is five minutes or so down Merced if you walk to the left once you're out the door. Highly recommend. The streets around are a bit noisy with buses but I doubt you'll avoid that anywhere in Santiago.
