Location

This hotel is located in the heart of central Santiago, in the Paris-London district, which is has been given the status of National Heritage site, thanks to its wealth of architectural interest. It lies close to all the capital's business, cultural and social centres and is 100 m from the nearest links to the public transport network (metro stop Universidad de Chile), 300 m from the Palacio de la Moneda, 500 m from Cerro Santa Lucia and 800 m from Plaza de Armas. The centre of Santiago is 800 m, the Museo Bellas Artes is 900 m, the Bellavista district is 1 km and Parque Arauco, with its shopping venues, is 1.2 km. The hotel is just a short journey from the coast and main ski centres, including Valle Nevado (70 km). It is 120 km to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar beach is 150 km away.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 13 suites, 39 single rooms and 95 double rooms located in two 7-storey buildings with lifts. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. A trouser press is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available.     Great Location, Disappointing Experience

    The location of the hotel is good, but overall it was not good value for the money. The staff was not very helpful and the breakfast was really poor with limited options. We had to wait a long time for food to be replenished. The bread and breakfast pastries were hard, and the juices were not fresh. There was also no hot water kettle in the room, which is something you would normally expect in a 4-star hotel.     Old style rooms .( 50buears old ) No service for the 4 stars hotel.Maybe with indulgence a 2 to 3 star hotel.Not diverse food for the breakfast.     At the end of a South American cruise, we decided to stay a few more days in Santiago , Chile, before returning home.This hotel proved to be very pleasant.
