Best location you can find in Santiago. Very nice hotel, spacious rooms, everything is spotless. I was traveling by myself and I felt safe and relaxed in this hotel. They have the best breakfast, an unbelievable amount of different foods with many healthy choices. The service is absolutely amazing. Beautiful hotel in a great location but...

    rating20 Mar 2026

The Plaza Hotel del Bosque Ebro is a beautiful hotel in a great location. Room 1201 is very quiet and spacious with a desk and pocket doors to close the bedroom from the 'working room'. It's clean. And quiet. But our reservation did not include breakfast. When we checked in, at ~ 1 am, the receptionist said that our reservation included breakfast. I didn't question the apparent discrepancy as I have 3 hotel reservations on the trip and assumed I was confused, especially given the hour and the ~ 18 hours of travel time. When we checked out, it was apparent that the 'included breakfast' was at an additional $80 ($20/day, for a breakfast that I didn't need because I was attending a conference at a near-by location, which offered breakfast.)The other problem was that there is construction occurring at the hotel both apparently on the water system for one day that we were there, and on the 17th floor (where they are constructing an 'event' venue, with the pool and outdoor terrace). But notice of the construction was not provided at the time of booking. And the water system construction resulted in NO WATER one morning. So no shower on the 12th floor. But the shower in the gym was available, 13 floors away. There is a lovely game room, with a nice pool table. But I don't think I will stay here again, even though it is very convenient to where I needed to be and to the subway (which is super easy to use). Just one person's view. Your experience might be better. Gestor de Experiencia, Guest Services / Front Office at Hotel Plaza El Bosque Ebro, responded to this review Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Pretty far from 5 stars

    rating19 Feb 2026

That's the first thing you should have in mind when booking this hotel. We've cancelled another hotel in Las Condes thinking this one's better, unfortunately we were wrong. I'll state out all the positives and negatives so you decide yourself.PROS:- LOCATION: Excellent location in a quiet and safe neighborhood surrounded with residential apartments with security, really nice. Several restaurants around it and groceries, as well the Cenco Costanera tower and mall 10 min walk. Metro station 5 min walk.- BREAKFAST ROOM: I mean ONLY the area where's breakfast on top 17 floor is really nice. It offers both, indoor and outdoor seating with excellent views of surrounding high rises and magnificent Andes in distance,- POOL ROOM: Again, only the room which is adjacent to the breakfast area on the opposite side of top floor.CONS:- LOBBY - too small for such a hotel. Welcome drink in a ''5 star'' hotel is pure natural water from a fountain by the reception. No one trying of willing to assist you with luggage taking it to your room,- ROOM - very dated, in need of renovation. You can tell that from the old entrance doors, over room furniture, dated very soft beds,... Water in room is given only on arrival and NEVER restocked, which is a practice in even 2-3 stars hotels. There's a kettle in the room, but NO coffee neither tea provided - again a regular practice for even low class hotels.Cutlery in the kitchen drawer seems being from 70's last century.Out of 4 days room was cleaned only 2 times, after our remarks at reception when we came back at 6PM.Room key was misfunctioning every day, sometimes even twice a day so had to go down to reception to replace it.- BREAKFAST - very ordinary one you experience in 3 star hotels with every day the same. NO egg station for fresh cooking, but prefabricated omlettes in a bowl.If you want a lunch box because of the tours which start early before the breakfast they charge it 5$ per person. Greedy and unacceptable.- POOL - on Top floor with great views but very small. Consider it a size of a larger hot tub. It's open from 9 AM, but no one locks the doors so I went every morning at around 7 AM. Then you have it for yourself and you can do some relax swimming. In the afternoon it is packed with people and you can hardly enter it.Furthermore, in the afternoon there's no way you will get your pool towel as they're all gone. I called reception to refill them few times, no one did. Also, forget about having your sunbed there, as there're only 10-15 for a 17 floors hotel. The furniture around the pool area is in decaying state (see the pics). To conclude, by no means don't expect 5 stars service, rather a 3 star. Hotel has great potential, but at this moment is not a one to recommend. Unprofessional, Invasive, and Traumatic Experience – Do Not Recommend

    rating18 Feb 2026

My stay at the Plaza del Bosque Ebro was one of the most distressing hotel experiences I have ever had. The most alarming issue was that the hotel staff entered our room, handled, and moved our personal belongings without any prior authorization or notice. We returned to find our room completely emptied, which was a tremendous shock as we were not approached by reception beforehand. Basic hygiene rules regarding bathroom items were ignored, and there was no care taken with the preservation of our property (including our shoes, which were taken for hours). This sudden room change was due to a leak in the shower, but since our belongings were in other areas of the room and placed up high (away from the water), there was no justification for the invasive handling of our items. To make matters worse, we were relocated to a room located directly below a floor undergoing construction, which also had a broken, noisy air conditioner. When we complained, we were initially told there were no other options—until, miraculously, a room "appeared."The customer service was appalling. The managers, Rodolfo and Alejandra, treated the situation with mockery and dishonesty. They dismissed our complaints, downplayed the damage and moral distress caused, and even insinuated that no harm had been done despite the invasion of our privacy.Despite professional mediation by Hotels.com, the hotel did nothing to remedy the situation. To top it off, the housekeeping is a disgrace: trash bins were not emptied, even when overflowing, and we had to call maintenance multiple times in the new room as well.Overall, the staff's behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and invasive. As two women traveling alone in a foreign country, this situation created a genuine feeling of insecurity and fear. I strongly advise against staying here. Gerencia Hoteles Plaza el Bosque, Otro at Hotel Plaza El Bosque Ebro, responded to this review Thank you for sharing your comments. We regret that your experience was not satisfactory. The situation that occurred was the result of an unforeseen operational matter, and all actions taken were carried out with the intention of safeguarding your well-being, your belongings, and the hotel facilities.During your stay, different alternatives were offered in order to address your concerns; however, these were not accepted. Your observations will be considered as part of our internal review and continuous improvement processes. We appreciate the time you have taken to provide your feedback.
