Location is very good, everything is nearby. Check in and check out both were smooth, hotel reception even let me store my bags till I come back to Santiago for my return journey back home to Spain. Great value 5-star hotel. Old school decor and furnishings, but not stuffy. Good sized two-bed room. Excellent breakfast buffet, good restaurant and bar. Very helpful staff, excellent service. Stayed for 3 nights at the start and one night at the end of our trip to Chile. Staff were friendly and helpful. Decor was not to our taste, dark and dated. Shower worked well. Wi-Fi good. Good location with restaurants within walking distance. Many tourist sites within walking distance and the hop on hop off bus stops nearby. Water didn’t appear to be complementary. Service in the rooftop bar was painfully slow. Service in the restaurant a bit hit and miss. Food at the evening meal we had there was nothing special.Breakfast was not great, but there were building works and it wasn’t being served in the breakfast room. On our final night at the and of the holiday it was being served in the breakfast room and was much better.To sum up, service was good, staff attentive, it did nothing wrong but it lacked a wow factor. We made the hotel a base for our travels in Chile. The location is ideal--walking distance from many attractions and easy to get to. The staff are warm and welcoming. We used to go to the reception desk with various questions, and they were unfailingly helpful. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. This a hotel that we would go back to--it had become a home away from home!
