    Worse Intercontinental property on the planet

    I spend roughly 200 nights a year in hotels, and this was my worst hotel experience in several years. The rooms do not match the photos—the advertised ottoman was missing. Room service was consistently slow, and staff were remarkably unhelpful with anything beyond basic check-in and check-out. The bathroom did not even have conditioner, and I ended up going to a supermarket to buy basic items that I expected the hotel to provide. Worse, if you log into Netflix on the room TV, there is no way to log out, creating a privacy and security concern for guests. For a hotel positioning itself at this level, the overall experience was exceptionally disappointing. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.     The service here is consistently excellent. The rooms are currently being refurbished, and I stayed in one that was superb. The staff are always friendly and willing to accommodate your requests. I'd especially like to highlight Anita, Paulina, Vicente, Edwin, Engelbert, and Gerardo (sadly retired) at the restaurant. At the concierge and front desk, the wonderful staff—Ana, Lorenzo, Juan, Jose, Mattias, and Eduardo—always go above and beyond to meet your every request. I visit this hotel regularly and can confidently say that it consistently exceeds my expectations.     Excellent customer service - a true home away from home in Santiago!

    Finished up a 9 day vacation stay at Intercontinental Santiago. It is located in the El Golf neighborhood in the Las Condes district. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Tobalaba metro station on Line 1 ( red line). Santiago has an extensive metro system which is clean, safe and efficient. Very easy to navigate and utilizes a contact less payment system. We stayed in the Condor Suite # 1114 with a spectacular view of the Andes Mountains. Very spacious room with a king sized bed, separate living room with a couch and small table, a separate dining area with half bath. The shower had great water pressure and was HUGE. Freestanding soaker tub which is great after a long day of sightseeing. We had access to the club lounge which offered breakfast, mid-day snacks and drinks and hot dinner items with an open bar available each night from 6pm - 10pm. Breakfast in the main restaurant was also extensive with made to order omelets and eggs, fresh fruit, cereals, yogurt, breads and Chilean favorites such as sopapilla, fresh made breads. LOTS of desserts also and fresh squeezed juices. The staff in the breakfast area and club lounge were very attentive. Front desk offered excellent customer service and arranged for transport to the airport, late checkout and extended access to the club lounge. The gym on the 18th featured all new equipment, towels,water and fresh fruit. Quiet and secure hotel which made our visit to Santiago memorable. Highly recommend.

    Our recent stay at the InterContinental Santiago was outstanding. Located right in the financial district, the property provides an exceptional base, but it was the phenomenal staff that made our visit memorable. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the front desk reception team welcomed us with warm smiles and efficient professionalism. Checking in was a breeze.The highlight of our stay was the Club Lounge. It is beautifully designed. Breakfast was good. During evening hours there were various hot and cold options including veg, protein, desert, together with wines and spirits. The dishes tasted fantastic. I had a great time relaxing in the club after a day's skiing. The lounge team provided hospitality that made us feel incredibly valued.     Booked a suite woth interconnecting for a family of 5. Check in was fairly easy under IHG ambassador. On arrival noticed that both bathrooms had hand-wash in the shower area instead of body wash..took about 45 minutes to get a housekeeping to replace. 2nd bathtub plug also not working but maintenance guy came in 15mins to fix. Breakfast was ok with cooked to order eggs but area was busy. Exec lounge had a good variety during happy hour.
