    A wonderful oasis

    My son and I spent two nights at Matilda's and we loved it. It's in a lovely old building with very comfortable rooms full of character. There are ample public spaces and a delightful garden. The included breakfast set us up for the day; particularly the omelettes!. All the staff were charming and helpful. Although it's not in the centre of town it was easy to walk to everything we wanted. We'd certainly go back.

    Matildas Boutique Hôtel was a genuine oasis in the middle of Santiago. We could walk everywhere from the hotel yet could also enjoy the tranquility of the garden and peaceful nights. The atmosphere at the hotel is welcoming and the staff are friendly and low key, yet always there if you need them. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious breakfast and our stay at Matildas.

    Lovely building, well maintained. Excellent breakfast with eggs options. Helpful and friendly staff who let us leave luggage while we spent two nights in Valparaiso. Interesting neighborhood with excellent street art. Highly recommend.

    Excellent, welcoming & helpful staff!Gorgeous & comfortable hotel with lovely garden!Breakfast also excellent - first time on this trip of being able to get my egg just the way I like! Can highly recommend this hotel & would stay again!!
