The hotel itself if well located - metro next door, great tourist artisan market almost next door, lots of good walking spots - in the day !!! Reception was great - helpful staff, friendly door security staff. Breakfast buffet was fine, only had one dinner there, and wouldnt recommend it. Only had coffee perk in room - had to ask for kettle. Provided our own teabags, etc. Fridge in room, which was good. Biggest problem was the hotel door swipes - we had continuous problems with them. Had to get mine changed 3 times, and then still had frequent problems where sometimes it could take about 10 attempts to get in. Nice pool/bar area. Right outside hotel its pretty trashy and has people sleeping in street. Roads behind hotel don't feel safe.

Overcharging of foreign guests up to 6% above Accor reservation confirmation amounts ...

Avoid. They try to overcharge foreign travellers up to 6% on top of what is specified in CLP when you reserve via Accor site/mobile app, due to artificially inflated exchange rates when they convert to their preferred currency of USD for payment, and similarly poor exchange rates when converting Accor All points values from EUR. The hotel manager is also unprofessional, not responding to me at all, leaving it to his front desk manager to talk/respond to me with lies about exchange rates fluctuating over the relevant periods, when the official bank of Chile exchange rates were stable. Trying to open an official complaint with the central Accor team thus far have come to nothing after over a month. The breakfast was generally a mess, them cleaning tables if you were lucky by wiping the crumbs/hairs onto the seats/floor, as well as not replenishing the only hot dish of scrambled eggs in the buffet sometimes for over 10-15 minutes, and one time the whole buffet area was dark/unlit and they couldn't come up with a better solution than the staff following some of the guests around with the torchlight of their mobile phones ...

Clean, Comfortable, and Well Located

A very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The location is great, with a fantastic market nearby offering awesome souvenirs at very reasonable prices, and a Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop just a short walk away. All of this made getting around and exploring the city very easy. We would happily stay here again.

Super friendly staff, great pool and bar area, good breakfast. Felt very safe here. Only minor downside was door cards which kept failing.

I thought this was an excellent hotel in the heart of central Santiago. It's close to many museums and sights, like Santa Lucia hill, Plaza De Armes, the Teatro, Museum of Fine arts. The hotel is also on the L1 subway (entrance just beside it). The hotel staff were friendly and nice, and tried to accommodate requests like late check out. I stayed for new year's and could see the fireworks at Torres Entel at the hotel. Rooms were very large and clean, with a nice high pressure rain shower. Breakfast was alright, not a lot of choice, but the desserts, fruits and beverages were nice and extensive. The pool was also not the biggest, but there's a nice deck for drinks and socialising. Gym was small and the only weight training machine was faulty. Do note that Centro Santiago is not very safe at night. Although the hotel has ample security - like a guard, metal railings at night, key card system and lots of cameras - I twice found strange figures loitering waiting for me to use my key card in the elevator so they could access the upper floors (which I declined). That said, I would highly recommend this hotel.
