    Spacious and clean rooms. Very small kitchen. But you can use hotel restaurant. Breakfast simple with nice variety of tweet good. Unfortunately very small variety of Light good. Excellent hot water shows. Problem:- Hot summertime afternoons in rooms. No air conditioning or simple ventilador.Hotel personnel very kind and ready to help.Would return and recommend it.

    Old (rooms, furniture, towels, etc) poor service (during check in, check out and restaurant), not well maintained.The breakfast was poor too.     Good hotel located in Providencia, close to good restaurants and public transport. Breakfast was great, but rooms and service was pretty average. Their concierge was good, spoke English and help arrange activities for us.     Neruda Apart Hotel is an afordable option in Santiago.Its situated in Providencia, one of the best neighbourhoods to stay in the city just next to a subway station.The room are simple, but clean and the bath is hot and plenty of water.It includes breakfast.If you want something fancier stay in the Neruda Hotel which is basically connected to the apart hotel, but if you are like me that wants something clean, safe and well localized, but dont want to spend a fortunate, than the apart hotel is for you.In the summer it doesnt have air conditioning though, something to have in mind.

    NIGHTMARE AT HOTEL NERUDA

    My boyfriend and I were in Santiago in June of this year for a week of well deserved vacation. Right at the beginning we had problems with our flight. Arriving in Santiago, initially we were exited and ready to enjoy every single minute. However, as soon as the second day of our stay at Apart Hotel Neruda, our nightmare started. We were seated at the restaurant at the hotel, having breakfast, when I notice that my bag was gone! We crude for help and were surprised at the reaction of the Hotel personnel. We asked for the video tapes from security and saw that two elderly woman that we’re not gests at the Hotel, entered the Hotel facilities with no security and took my bag. I lost all my documents, passport, money, credit card, cell phone, sunglasses, etc. We demanded the presence of the manager, who took one hour to arrive. His reaction was the worst: he said the Hotel would not do anything for us because it was our fault for having taken care of our belonging. Outraged we went to the police and a consumer protection office and made a report. Days later, when the Hotel finally agreed to talk to use about what had happen, they admitted having problem with the security service and that they had fired the employees who had been away from their positions on the day of the robbery. We have requested a compensation for our losses and until now we haven’t heard anything from then. We will go until the end of this issue even if is necessary to file a lawsuit against the Hotel Neruda.
