Hotel is located close t The centre of Temuco but is on he older sideOf the city. The hotel was clean and staff friendly but it was a little pricey for ChileThe room was a reasonable size, bath (with no plug) and the washbasin plug was jammed so couldn’t drain the sinkMeals were expensive and basic.A free breakfast with plenty of choices Free car parkingOverall an average hotel that was a little overpriced

We had an extremely late arrival. No matter. We got a warm welcome. The rooms were impecable. Very comfortable beds and everything was very clean. Breakfast was with an abundant choice of foodstuffs. A heated pool (it's winter here), gym made for good exercise. Nothing extreme. Just RR. I usually stay at the Holiday Inn but this is a definitive option. Reasonably priced for the service rendered. I highly recommend.

Comfortable bed, nice view of the river. Breakfast was good - many choices. Staff were friendly. Received a welcome drink. Wifi was good. The only thing to remember is that on Sunday (which is the night we stayed), everything is closed.

At first, I stayed here almost a month on November 2016, then I've been coming back every once in a while and I have seen that the quality of the room has not improved, the bed is ok, the TV has basic cable, the WiFi signal is awful, the breakfast is just ok.What makes this place a good place to stay it's its staff, they make their best to keep the passenger on a comfortable stay, although the passengers are one of the problems of this place. During the week, everyone thinks they are the kings of the world and they are prepotent with the staff and even with other passengers, but all of us are here because our company pays, so, why are they disrespectful with the people that try to make us good?I hope on my next visit there will be some improvements.

Comfortable five night stay in Temuco

We had an emergency stop in Temuco after a broken ankle in Pucon and surgery in Temuco. We stayed for five nights. I can’t say enough good things about Diego de Almagro. The staff was great and made us so comfortable. Especial thanks to Juan Carlos who facilitated our last minute checkin, made sure we had an accessible room, got us a wheel chair and spoke fluent English, which really helped. We had some of our best meals in Chile in their restaurant. Downtown location but Temuco is easy to get around walking and by car and room was very quiet. WiFi good. Good size rooms. Pool. We saw lots of families with kids. Parking gets tight towards the evening and is first come for parking inside.
