  Staff very helpful and friendly. The room is basic but clean Breakfast selection was good with lots of choices. Good location in the old part of town.

  We just spent 3 nights at the Marina del Rey (Best Western) in Vina del Mar and absolutely loved it. The staff are unbelievably kind and so very helpful. No question is too big or too small. The hotel is very well located - along the EFE train line (Mirador Stop just a block or two away) to Valparaiso and other parts of Vina del Mar, which is a beautiful and very safe city. They are only 10 minutes walking to the Flower Clock, and are just a tad farther from the Quinta Vergara and Rioja Palace. Breakfast buffet each morning with fresh fruit, sweets, and lots of hot, healthy items, too. I particularly appreciated that they offered boiled eggs each morning. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening - very tasty. There's also an excellent Peruvian restaurant just across the street. I highly recommend this place - major bang for your buck with personnel that make everything a pleasure.

  The nicest welcome and the best service. The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. A really good stay from start to finish, the staff couldn't do enough, and the breakfast was spectacular, so much choice and everything presented without fault

  We had booked a king room for 3 nights. On the morning after our 1st night a weird thing happened, I got locked in the bathroom and could not get out ! The promptly sent their maintenance guy over and he was able to dismantle the doorknob from the outside and got me out in about 20 mins.The folks that helped Katherine & then Guillermo put us into a bigger suite and comped part of our cost, so we only paid for 2 nights ! We saw them at least daily and they were always so kind to ask how everything was, that sort of thing.Overall, the place is pretty close to a 5 ***** in review stars anyways, but Guillermo and Katherine put the place well above 5 ***** as far as we are concerned.You just don't see customer service like this much any more.The beds are comfy, the shower/water pressure is great and the breakfast yummy.T Y for making our stay in Vina Del Mar very, very lovely !
