  Two nice days at the Viña del Mar Novotel

  We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Viña del Mar. A few things in our room didn't work as expected (the wiring of the lights, the refrigerator, and the trash can in the bathroom) but we appreciated the location of the hotel, the comfortable bed, the breakfast buffet, plus the friendliness and professionalism of the hotel staff.

  Clueless management. Cold showers. Pool closed with no notice. No coffee or creamer in rooms. I notified management about missing money they could not care less. All in all a disgrace. Food and drink grossly overpriced..around 80% of the staff look miserable.

  No internet connection almost for 24 horas, the breakfast/restaurant have two areas and use additional space ,this additional space the offer are not the same and you need back and forward to the main area I was there for vacation not for exercise

  while getting a fairly modern flair in comparison to the colonial style hotels, unfortunately you must be ready for some drawbacks - such as inflexible and unpredictable service staff resp. fruits and pastries from previous day at breakfast.   A good choice for central Vina Del Mar

  Nice hotel. Great location! Walking distance to several local restaurants and sights.Ascencio at the front desk was most helpful as were the rest of his fellow staff members. Excellent team.Room was nice and comfortable. Sheets flimsy and towels quite thin. No face cloths. No tissues. With the four nights stay, housekeeping missed their marks two mornings. No iron or board. You have to request one from the front desk (a few times). Drop-off laundry costs were very reasonable though. Breakfast was underwhelming. Coffee from a decanter. No specialized coffee drinks. Cold cuts and hard rolls. No eggs cooked to order. Cold hard-boiled eggs. Butter still quite frozen. Skip this option if booking this hotel. Plenty of coffee and pastry shops around the corner.The first floor bar was FANTASTIC in the mornings! Excellent staff. Among the best double espresso macchiatos ever and I had two of them every morning of my stay. Mixed drinks divine and reasonably priced.
