    Not the best hotel for what you pay

    This hotel is now called Beijing Continental Grand Hotel. The hotel is very dated and needs to be renovated. The room does not have modern facilities and the bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was average and the restaurants were not good. My advice is that there are much better options for the price you pay.

    Very low quality hotel, bed mattress is old and lumpy couldn't sleep well. As it gave me back ache. Toilet is dirty with lots of water stain and hair. Kettle has lots of unknown deposits, couldn't use to boil water. Guest need to buy water supply from nearby suoer market

    Stayed here for three nights, and it is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Arriving onto level 5 we were greeted by two rooms opposite ours being renovated. The hallways were a mess. The work men started early (and loudly) and finished late. The rooms are 10+ years old, after being built for the Beijing Olympics, and have not been kept clean at all. And thinking of a restful sleep? The air conditioning which allows you to set the temperature and hot or cold, so not work. The temperature is set by the hotel. As they were coming into winter, the temperature in the room was registering as 26 C.... Avoid this hotel.

    Lovely Hotel Very Near to Olympic Park

    Stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights & enjoyed the experience. Great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. The rooms are spacious & well appointed. The location is close to the Beijing Olympic Park & ideal for evening walks in a very safe environment.

    Great hotel, Very nice lobby area and restaurant where we had breakfast. One receptionist and the floor manager spoke English. My daughter and I had a twin room, all the usual toiletries were supplied. No coffee in the room but luckily I had brought my own supply of Nescafe. Just wish there had been some milk in the room.Nice comfortable beds and shower had good pressure. The carpet in the room was stained but not too badly.This hotel is within a 15 minute walk to the Olympic Park (Bird's nest stadium and Ice Cube) which is very handy. There is also a park across the road and supermarket around the corner (about a 10 minute walk)There was a variety of food available for breakfast but the coffee machines did not work.
