    smell of smoke

    I chose this hotel because is very close to the embassies area. Room was clean and big but although it is a non smoking hotel the smell of smoke is too strong specially in the room. Staff very friendly (but no English) and close to the underground station.

    Staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful. Room was rather bland, and the curtains weren’t long enough to keep the light out. The room was one of those awfully designed ones where the bathroom is an integral part of the bedroom. If you’re sharing, don’t expect any privacy from the glass fronted shower/toilet, or to keep smells/humidity out. Handy location for the metro and walking to Sanlitun.
