  Wonderful 10 Night Stay in Bejiing!

  I just spent 10 nights at this lovely hotel with some friends while we toured around Bejiing to see all the wonderful sights. We wanted to stay in a quiet location in the evenings after our busy days, so this quiet hotel, a short drive from the city, was absolutely perfect for us. The hotel has everything a guest needs for a comfortable stay and the lovely cats in the courtyard and garden were an added bonus for cat lovers like me! The rooms have everything a guest needs and the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful and cleaned the rooms/replenished items when required. There is a lovely restaurant in the basement where we ate most evenings with a wide variety of Chinese cuisine. As English speaking guests with no Mandarin, it was a little difficult for us to communicate, but all the staff did their best to help us as best they could. A special mention has to go to two members of staff in particular, James (our handsome James Bond 😉) and the adorable 'Morning Star', they were so friendly and so helpful to us, that they really made our entire stay a wonderful experience. No request was too big and we cannot thank them enough for everything. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! 😁👍

  This is a New Hotel which have nothing around The hotel. but you can get Pretty much everything within The hotel.Huge lobby, Food is good planty of parking space. bit Locate of no where but yet close to everywhere.   Not near the action, but clean and priced right

  It is true, as other reviewers have noted, this hotel is a ways out. Still, it is not that bad, if you don't mind taking a cab in and out of town. It's about a 40 minute ride to Wangfujing. The remoteness could be seen as a downside, or a plus, depending on what you are aiming for. The price is cheaper than similar hotels, because of its location. Also, if in the evening you just want to get to hotel and relax till the next day, the inside-the-park setting is quite nice. Hotel is clean, breakfast is decent, and in the summer they have a beer and BBQ operation on the patio at night. Quite relaxing. Again, if you want to walk out the door into bustling Beijing, do not book here, but if you want just to linger around the hotel at night, you could do worse.   No English speaking room service, when calling the receptionist they tried to call the kitchen which did not reply. After two attempts they stopped and told me I could come down to get “fast food” noodle soup. The audacity. 24 hrs room service advertised, none given, on the phone they said the kitchen now closes at 11pm, but at 22:45 no service was available. Management should be fired.   How to destroy the Holiday Inn brand

  This hotel is poorly located. It is nowhere near anything. One needs to walk along a boring featureless driveway for 15 minutes just to get to a roadway. Then it is another 10 minutes to get to the shops by bus. The hotel's food and drink is exhorbitantly priced and mediocre. An expensive piece of black forest cherry cake was served to me stale.The rooms are worn with paint peeling off the ceiling and a large crack in the bathroom floor. The beds are ordinary at best with pillows too hard.
