    Great wall half a day tour a MUST DO from this place..

    We booked a day trip tour to see the great wall of China through Joseph from Holiday Inn Temple of Heaven. Joseph was so nice to us during our visit and helped us a lot not only for the tour but also with other stuff. The tour staff( driver ) was so nice to us and even dropped us at the temple of heaven in the afternoon as a favour. Highly recommended, value for money and so time efficient…

    Heard from a colleague before I arrived in this hotel that it will be an old hotel and despite the pre-information , the hotel turned up to be much old and worn out then I have expected of a Holiday Inn.Hotel is located almost 90 mins away from the airport and hotel is housed in a residential area . I later found out that the hotel is built in 2004 and last renovation was in 2014. Check in was prompt but nothing in terms of the decor or the settings drawn me wanting stay longer.On entering the room, my impressions were at all time low as everything is so out dated and run down. Carpet is stained and wooden furnishing are worn out . On my way to the swimming pool I passed by their gym gave me a feeling it was perhaps last updated 10 years ago. Breakfast choices are limited and some food are served luke warm. On one morning , the staff was serving freshly baked pineapple bun on a tray but it was cold.The only saving grace of this hotel is perhaps the prompt and attentive service but again I wouldn’t want to come back

    Hotel is nice. Room is spacious. Foods are awesome. Well attended staff. I stayed 3 nights and found everyone nice. Due to vpn issue internet service is poor. I went to Great Wall, Thiyanmen Park, Araniko Temple and some shopping mall. Had amazing experience.

    We visited Holiday Inn Beiging from the Nepal Hotel Association business mission and half yearly meeting of Hotel Association Nepal. We arrived arrived at 13:30 in the night, and they managed everything nicely. Food is always delicious, and the best hospitality is. Thank you, team Holiday Inn.

    On the positive side the staff were great, there was plenty of choice for breakfast, the self service laundry is very welcome and easy to use, and it is in a quieter location, within walking diatance of the MRT. Downsides, the room was very dated and uncared for. Cracks in the paintwork, the desk was chipped and cracked, the bath/shower was marked and damaged, and the carpet was worn and didnt look very clean round the edges of the room. The worst thing however, was that all the rooms on our floor were nonsmoking, yet there was a heavy smell of smoke, and seceral times we walked past rooms whos doors were wide open and other guests were sat smoking in the room. The signage says you will be fined for smoking inside, but it happened anyway.Its a cost effective hotel, but I wouldn't stay again of visiting Beijing.
