Location

This business hotel is situated within 10 minutes of the Shangdi Hi-tech Zone and Beijing's Silicon Valley. Tian'anmen Square can be reached in 30 minutes by car and the nearest links to the public transport network are just 500 metres away. The Olympic Park is 100 metres from the establishment, whilst Beijing Capital Airport can be reached in less than 30 minutes by car.

Facility

The hotel has 292 junior suites, 42 suites and 231 single rooms, which are located on 16 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and German-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. All rooms are carpeted and have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The freshwater pool complex includes indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated, as well as a children's swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis and golf are available. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and aerobics.     Company reserved two rooms with breakfast. I checked in on the 14th of September, and on the 16th the hotel decided to give away my room because I had no luggage inside and spent the night in another room. Instead of informing me directly, they emailed my director that they would give the room away.Because I was not informed, I was repeatedly harassed during breakfast about which room I was staying in. This was humiliating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel.As an “apology” we were offered only ≈70 USD discount, which does not come close to compensating for the stress and embarrassment caused.     Last-minute booking that was a pleasant surprise. Location was great as was visiting the convention centre, which is just a very short walk away. Hotel clean and modern.     Excellent location for the Nation Convention Centre II

    I stayed for two nights at this hotel, which has an excellent location just a 5-10 minute walk from the China Convention Centre II, where my event was being held. It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to central Beijing.The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, patiently supporting my attempts at speaking Chinese and had good English when needed. The rooms were spacious and featured a comfy bed.Breakfast was good overall, with one exception: there were no bananas!! This was a bit disappointing, especially since many athletes were staying for the Hyrox competition and bananas are a necessity for electrolytes. Fortunately, there was a supermarket across the road from the convention center where we were able to stock up.I also dined at the Italian restaurant, which was excellent. Plus, there's a Starbucks conveniently located next door!
