Location

This hotel is located close to the hi-tech district of Zhongguancun, China's Silicon Valley. It offers guests easy access to the Badaling Expressway, the 5th ring road and the airport motorway. It lies 5 minutes from the nearest city rail station, just 20 minutes from the Summer Palace and the Ming Tombs, 25 minutes from the city centre and key shopping areas and 30 minutes from the Great Wall. It is a 20-minute drive from Capital International Airport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 937 rooms, including 11 junior suites, 13 suites, 85 single rooms and 611 double rooms, located in a 7-storey main building and a 9-storey auxiliary building. Guests are warmly welcomed by English-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and 15 lifts. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Rooms

The pool complex, which includes 2 outdoor and indoor pools, is ideal for exercise and active relaxation. Little swimmers can splash around in the children's swimming area. Dining facilities include a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub. Guests can dine in 6 restaurants, which feature high chairs for children and air conditioning. Catering options include bed and breakfast and all-inclusive. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    It is a grand hotel with multiple buildings and comfortable rooms. Has a grand staircase and excellent customer service. Disappointing aspect are the poor state behind the scenes such as the pool area and changing rooms in desperate need of repairs/ renovations. The downstairs western restaurant is affordable but we had a bad experience with cold meals and very poor service. The bare lounges also staffed with learners and just overall uncomfortable in drink service

    Enjoyable stay at Wyndham Beijing North Hotel

    The hotel is located off a highway and an hour from city center. Opened more than 20 years ago but still in a very good condition. We stayed there on our TripADeal China tour. The room was comfortable and clean. The dinning room was large and the breakfast buffet had both Western and Chinese food.

    Wyndham Beijing North is a huge hotel complex with great infrastructure: swimming pool, gym, restaurants and shops. The hotel rooms are well-equipped and very comfortable. The staff is really thoughtful and willing to help. Breakfast has several options for all tastes. If you are staying in this part of the city, it is certainly the best option. Definitely recommend and will stay here again when I return to Beijing!

    If you like me what to have a stay with less than 27 degrees Celsius in the room then do not choose this hotel. They refused to turn on central air condition. I got a new room the next day with “only”was 23, 5 degrees after no sleep for one day, because it was on the shade side Also, be aware breakfast time in the app and on the webpage are not correct.

    This hotel is about an hour out of central Beijing, to the northwest, outside of the fifth ring road. It’s near the tech hubs so good for business-related stays. There’s a subway station not far away, about 5 minutes by cab. From there, all of Beijing is only an hour or so away if you’re touring.The hotel facility is excellent, with a nice spacious lobby and an interior enclosed atrium-courtyard in the central building around which the centrarooms are arranged. So esthetically pleasing.The rooms are generously sized and have an excellent bathroom layout with a nice tub for hot soaks and a separate shower. The beds are great. It’s a great place to come back to after a day at work or sightseeing.The breakfast has a nice selection of Chinese and Western food. There are several quite good restaurants in the complex, including Sichuan and Shanghai focused. The main dining room also has a reasonably priced buffet dinner. The service staff are very pleasant and welcomingI would highly recommend this hotel. My wife joined me for a weekend on one of my trips and really enjoyed her stay..
