    new hotel big room and cleanstay there one night .satisfied.but only 1 staf can speak english.the rest is no english but there try very best to help.tqwill book again .near to lrt station.no muslim food

    Great... if you are a smoker

    Just spent 5 nights at this courtyard and was very disappointed overall. The hotel is very dated and shabby. The room was clean but bathroom had grotty tiles and the shower head was leaking- such an easy and cheap thing to fix. My main complaints are the AC that simply does nothing but blow warmish air. The room temperature did not drop below 26C and that’s with me setting the temp to 16C on the room control. Even in November the room was hot, I dread to think what it would be like in the summer months. You could open the window but the road outside is very noisy day and night. Brought the AC problem to reception’s attention but they could not do anything to fix it. I am guessing the AC system is as old as the hotel. The other problem is the smoking. The hotel is plastered with the signs “no smoking” but clearly no one takes any notice of those. It STINKS of old smoke on upper floors and it stank in my room daily as whenever AC was on, the smoke smell was clearly coming out of it. Great if you are smoker, not so great if you don’t like tobacco smell. Reception do not speak great English. Breakfast was alright but same every day. Not so great when there was a large group of people one morning though, there was literally no food left in the counters. The staff worked hard to clear up but simply could not cope. Bad planning on management side. The executive lounge is not great. Drinks choice is poor, food mediocre.     Overall is fine. Big room for familyBig rest room with bathtub also hot and cold water. AC with cold and heat.Clean room. Big matrass.Desk work. Led tv with more than 60 channel but 99% China ChannelHave coffee, tea, small refrigerator, small safety box.Close up mirror, hair dryer.Breakfast with menu American and little chinesse food. Overall it's fine. At my room the AC not cold.

    Courtyard Fengxian is the place to stay for either business or pleasure

    My wife and I just spent 10 days at this conveniently located Courtyard in Fengxian, Shanghai, and we enjoyed this Marriott hotel thoroughly and heartily. While all the hotel functions are adequately and professionally managed, its F&B stands out. We have dined at almost all its restaurants and the foods are wonderful so are all the services. The Pavilion on the first floor where we have our breakfast buffet serves one of the best breakfasts in Shanghai, and the services are wonderful under Lisa Ruan the restaurant manager. We recommend Courtyard Fengxian for both business and pleasure very highly without any qualification. In addition, the executive lounge on the 10th floor is also a very pleasant and relaxing place for elite members to be. Thanks, Judy, for all your and your staff's courtesy and nice service extended to us during our recent stay!

    We were booked into this hotel bt a tour company. I believe it is relatively new and there is construction going on everywhere, but it did not detract from the pleasant vibe. Roddy, the customer service manager was extremely nice! Their staff is outstanding! I believe the employees of this hotel genuinely enjoy their jobs and it shows. The food was good but hands didn't the service in this hotel is the best I've ever experienced! Roddy, Adam and I believe Carol were all top notch!
