    Chose this hotel due to proximity to Hongqiao airport since I am arriving at night from Hong Kong.Hotel is less than 15 mins by car from airport and upon arriving noticed that the hotel has several towers for rooms. I was assigned a Club room. Overall I felt the hotel really huge and getting from the room to breakfast itself is a walk since it is not in the same tower.To be honest what I liked only about the hotel as the rest did not leave up to expectations and why so?1. Usually I do not find any issues if I have to connect to company lap top via VPN even in China but somehow at this hotel, the connection is intermittent.2. For a hotel of this status , I was pleasantly surprised that it does not have a pool and when I asked the staff, they were not able to recommend quickly any swimming pool nearby.3. While the spread at breakfast is good, the layout of the cafe does not make it comfortable for dinning.If I am to come back , it is definitely the location due to also its choices of dining options.

    The staff is very courteous. The rooms are very spacious and well lit. The staff makes every effort to make your stay comfortable. Proud to be a Ihg member. At the same time stayed at Hyatt at the Bund and had the worst experience ever. Would prefer ihg over hyatt

    5-star hotel with 3-star backend communication

    We stayed for four nights. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was tip-top. Location is great. However the backend communication between different staff department needs a thorough overhaul. My family of six were registered for daily breakfast when we checked in. The front desk even confirmed the total charges before charging my card. However this was not communicated to the restaurant staff. We were stopped at the restaurant the next morning when we turned up for breakfast, with the restaurant staff telling us that there was no indication that our room numbers were registered for breakfast. We were even told to settle this with the front desk by ourselves. My wife went to the front desk personally to confirm again and was told that we were, indeed, registered for breakfast. We were stopped again the following morning by the restaurant staff with the same problem.A five-star hotel but its internal communication is clearly not.

    Brand new hotel with perfect location. Friendly and professional club lounge staff, especially Jasmine being extremely sincere and helpful. Good food and drinks in Club Lounge. Will be back next time!     New Hotel with New Restaurant

    Its a brand new hotel in the Hongqiao CBD area, next to the Hyatt Place and Hyatt House. Actually, Its the same property owner with two different brands. Hyatt and IHG Group. Few weeks ago, I came to this hotel for the first time for the grand opening of its all day dining restaurant (ADD). The hotel was not open back then. It opened officially just few days ago. In my first visit, I liked the all day dining restaurant very much. I think, this is one of the best all day dining restaurant in Hongqiao area. Lot of choices with multiple food stations. Excellent quality with good service from hardworking local workforce.
