    We went to china and after visiting Beijing we went to shanghai for 3 nights. We went there with group of families. Good quality rooms and rich breakfast. Rooms are face to the city area. Hope to visit again.

    Thought that Holiday Inn supposed to be reputable hotel but never expected this particular one is really beyond our expectations. Checked in on 22 Nov 2019 and have to stay here for 7 nights with intolerable air conditioning system. Understand that the AC system is centralize controlled but it can't be set at 28 to 29 degrees, right? When complaint staffs keep on emphasising the weather in Nov is "cold" but for us it wasn't at all. Cold wind unable to get into our room as the window is structured inverted position. Eventually they sent us air cooler. At least it helps to cool down our "temper". Surprisingly this particular hotel doesn't provide welcome drink! Well maybe welcome drink is too expensive to provide. Breakfast spread wasn't that great. Service rendered so so only. They are unable to make soft boiled eggs. Eggs submerge in pool of oil for fried eggs. I have no idea whether did they key in my staying points in my IHG membership as I checked seems zero....I hope I'll get the points as 7 days does contribute quite a bit...Well for sure I don't think I would stay in this hotel again unless I have no choice.     Unexpected devices from Holiday Inn

    Shocked to experience this kind of services from such a reputed chain of hotels worldwide. It's a 4 star property but no amenities provided in the washroom except soap, shampoo n ear bud.. No tooth brush no tooth paste, no comb, no shaving kit. Our stay was for 4 nights. The first night Air condition wasn't working properly, wasn't cooling Below 24 degrees. Second night we complained they rectify after 2 hours and it was cooling properly. The third night it works absolutely fine. The fourth night same problem it did go below 24 degrees, complaint twice but nobody came for any solution. Imagine this 4 Star property and they don't care that guest are comfortable or not.     Don't let the Holiday Inn brand keep you from booking

    This property is about 45 minutes to 1 hour from downtown Shanghai, depending on the time of day you travel. The property itself has a very nice lobby and well maintained common areas, including restrooms. 4 elevators that were all in working order. Breakfast was pretty good. Room was exceptionally large and very nicely furnished with a desk. TV included several English speaking channels, including CNN and ESPN (the only hotel of 4 during our trip that had this). We had an end unit so that had windows on two side. Air conditioning was not great and we had to keep a window open to cool the room. All in all, can recommend.     They keep one clerk for check in check out ..ıt takes 25 mins to check out...rooms are location is fine ..I wont stay here again . And credit cards are not working.
