    Impressive entrance and very comfortable rooms

    As the name indicates, the hotel is centrally located. We had Club rooms and checked in on the club floor. The Club team were very helpful. The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. I was able to pay for an extra late check out (6pm) which was very helpful. Breakfast was extensive and served downstairs in the impressive salon. Soy bean milk was available.

    Amazing location just steps from Nanjing Street and not far from Metro station that is on the line to PVG. Lots of other hotels/stores/restaurants nearby. Breakfast was good with typical spread. Probably the hotel with the most English speaking staff of all the hotels i stayed at for this trip. Rooms are spacious, and showers are great. Speedy housekeepers seems to know exactly when you left your room to clean it so kudos. Amenities are present, although some like hot tub showing it's wear/tear.

    Location was very good near to Nanjing Street.Service at front desk also was good. They try to accommodate as best they can, but not always to your satisfaction.Our only dislike is, in the evenings the room tends to be very warm. We had to open the windows to get cool air. Can't imagine if it was in summer.WE approached the front desk after the first night, and they told us the tech would check our room. It was the same again after the second night. We did not bother to ask again as we were leaving on the third day.

    One of the best luxury hotels I have stayed. Great value for the luxury provided. Great amenities and very clean and well kept room. The bedding quality was excellent and so the quality of sleep. Everything in the room had a quality of luxury around it. It mixed traditional feel in the room and modern technology very well. Our requests were delivered using a robot! The location was excellent for first time visitors, with great connectivity to airports and train stations, all good places to eat nearby. Note that they require a deposit to be paid when you arrive even for pre-booked reservations. Highly recommended.

    The best thing about this hotel is the location, right next to all the great shopping and restaurant s of Nanjing road and a few minute walk tonthe main bund area. You cant beat the location. We had very limited interaction with staff, the service staff like room cleaners were nice, fromt desk and the staff in the tax free office downstairs were kind of aburbt, and not warm and friendly as you wpuld expect from a hospitality standpoint. The room itself was very spacious with a large standing only shower. Since its winter time the room climate control is set to warm, and you are not able to change the settings. They can bring you a fan as the room doea get a bit stuffy even while its cold out. I opted to just open the window and hope no insect visiors came in. Overall we enjoyed our stay but this will be a one and done for us, there are so many options around town.
