Location

The hotel is situated in the Pudong financial centre, close to the heart of the city, and enjoys excellent access to the older centre of Puxi across the river.

Facility

555 rooms, including 45 suites, 157 single rooms and 339 double rooms, are available to guests in an 88-storey main building and a 6-storey auxiliary building. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine are available. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and 16 lifts. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser and a coin-operated laundry. Complimentary newspapers are available. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available. 11 conference rooms are available for lectures, presentations and meetings.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. There is also an ironing set and a trouser press. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player, a plug adapter, an alarm clock and WiFi are provided as well. A turndown service offers guests additional comfort. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex ensures comfortable swimming with its indoor and outdoor pools and pleasantly heated water. Children can enjoy a special swimming area just for them. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. Active guests can enjoy golf. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon and hydrotherapy treatments. Subject to charge: massage treatments. An entertainment programme and live music round out the entertainment options.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café and a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of 6 air-conditioned, non-smoking restaurants with separate areas for smokers. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. At lunch and dinner, guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Located in the center of Shanghai, its probably one of the most convenient hotels in the range if u wanna explore those skyscrapers or malls or even Hu Tong, those small narrow alleys that hide down the modern buildings. I like the aesthetics of the hotel, reminds me the rising 2010s when people still believe the world would become a better place. The feeling of luxurious and comfort surely made me want to visit again. Their "AI guest service" is not that smart, but besides that staffs are very friendly and helpful.     Great View for the Orient Tower

    The hotel could improve by providing better training for the front desk staff and creating a more organized system for check-in and check-out lines. It was frustrating when other guests would interrupt or cut in while I was speaking with the front desk staff. A clearer queue system and better crowd management would help create a smoother and more respectful experience for all guests.The staff also lacked warm smiles and genuinely caring attitudes during interactions. More training in guest greetings, hospitality, and customer care would greatly improve the overall guest experience and create a more welcoming atmosphere.     Fantastic hotel with great service. We had a high room in the west tower with a view of Pudong which was impressive. We were there during May Day celebrations which meant we could take advantage of the additional buffets. The buffets were really good and very reasonable with drinks included.Fabulous location too, so it was all positiv.     lovely hotel. beautiful view. but very busy. Lots of ppl outside of hotel building taking photos of the tall building...     Great hotel at the top of Jin Mao Tower with the reception desk on the 54th floor

    Spa:Nice swimming pool, approximately 12 m long, amazing jacuzzi and hot plunge basin. The spa area is separated into female and male sections, which makes the experience very comfortable. <3Breakfast:The breakfast buffet offers both European and Asian dishes, with a view of the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the whole city.NB: The youtiao 油条 was the best I have ever tried in my 15+ years of experience with Chinese food!Rooms:The rooms are very spacious and have good air conditioning. Best bed ever!!Really the best bed I have slept in at a hotel: not too soft, not too hard, just right for a great deep sleep. The bed does not shake when the person sleeping next to you turns over in their sleep.Surrounding area:Very convenient location next to the metro station and the pedestrian bridge. It is easy to get around even on rainy days, as the tower has an underground passage connecting it to the metro station and the nearby shopping mall.
