Location

The hotel is strategically situated in the heart of Pudong's premier financial district, a 5-minute drive from Lujiazui. It is easily accessible from all parts of the city, while Shanghai's attractions such as the world famous Bund or the Oriental Pearl TV Tower as well as the Shanghai New International Expo Centre are only a few minutes away by car. It is a 5-minute drive from Century Park, 25 minutes from Yu Garden and Suzhou is 45 minutes away by car.

Facility

303 rooms are available to guests in a 50-storey main building and a 5-storey auxiliary building. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Services such as a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift.     Our room was lovely as was the bathroom, both spacious. The breakfast is on the 50th floor and the floor revolves do you get good views. Loads of food to choose from at breakfast.

    Sorry to say but I found it a little underwhelming we had a junior suite which was huge but tired no wow factor apart from the amazing views housekeeping bare minimum floor never swept bed not made food also underwhelming and always lukewarm not really central to anything but taxis really cheap this is only my opinion but no wow factor or little luxury touches oh and constant flashing lights in bedroom it was ok somewhere to stay but not for me lots of door banging too

    I stayed for 6 nights at Novotel Shanghai Atlantis at the end of March 2026 for a family trip, in summary it was a great stay! I would like to give my highest appreciation to:1. Mr. Tom from the front office team who processed my check in and helped me on finding my lost bag in the Didi by calling the Didi Driver. 2. Mr. Tony from the 50th lounge, I came at 7.50 PM for dinner and it was about to close but he let me and my family have our dinner with a very warm welcome! Pros- Their front office service and restaurant service are very good, not everyone can speak fluent English but some are fluent and it is not a challenge to communicate- Room size is big and has a very good view of the city (from 30th-47th floor)- The Restaurant (Breakfast) & Lounge (Dinner) are at the same place on the 50th floor, the floor is moving as you eat your breakfast/dinner so you can see the city. Very nice at night!- Food selection if you eat here the first time, it is very good as they have a lot of selections- Location wise, it is in the center of Shanghai (near Lujiazui) so it is near to go to many places in the city center, I always use Didi as it is very convenient- As the hotel building is combined with an office and a small mall, they have Aldi (Supermarket) and some restaurants on the 1st & 2nd floor, so it is very convenient to get things and some food.- 24H Self-Service Laundry at 30th Floor, you don't need to bring detergent too. They have the washing machine and dryer, very nice! Cons- Food variety does not change everyday, so if you stay for more than 2 days, you will eat the same food everyday. But not a big deal as you can explore Shanghai's city food outside the hotel- Housekeeping is not thorough, not a big deal either. Some days they forgot to fill the soap, some days the tissue, but you can call and ask for it.- Room temperature, I tried to make it warm but it seems it wasn't working but you can sleep with the blanket as it is very cozy. - Internet, although it is mentioned that the Internet in China is quite hard for outside China products (Google, Facebook, etc) but the stability of the internet itself is lacking. If you are a traveler it won't be an issue as you will be out most days. Note:1. They have 24 H gym, the equipment is quite good for exercise2. They also have a warm indoor pool, I did not try it but next time I will try it. It is open from 10 AM - 10 PM.

    Unfortunately, the hotel did not provide the service I paid for, so of course the hotel's service is completely useless. Thus, Novotel Atlantis Shanghai is just a dirty, and infinitely expensive and overpriced house in the middle of a Chinese city...
