Location

This business and conference hotel is situated at the Zero Centre Point of Shanghai. It's central location means that it is within around 20 metres of public transport links, within around 300 metres of Renming Park and within around 500 metres of the Shanghai Museum. The Bund is approximately 1.5 km away, Shanghai train station and Yuyuan Garden are both roughly 3 km away, and Suzhou is some 2 hours from the accommodation by car or public transport.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 250 rooms located in a 25-storey main building and 2 auxiliary buildings. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. 6 lifts and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. A balcony is among the standard features of some rooms. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A turndown service provides guests with additional comfort in the evening hours. Slippers are included. A hairdryer and bathrobes are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. Leisure options at the hotel include a gym, squash and a spa. For a fee, guests can also enjoy a sauna, a steam bath and massage treatments. An entertainment programme and a dance club round out the entertainment options.

Various dining options are available, including a breakfast room, a café, a bar and a pub.     Wonderful historic hotel right in the city centre within walking distance to many attractions.Direct metro train to/from airport which is incredibly convenient.Staff are very friendly and helpful with recommendations.Beautiful Art Deco foyer. The rooms are a little dated and small, but comfortable.I would certainly recommend this hotel

    A good safe choice of hotel very centrally located at People's square. Staff are very friendly and very good buffet breakfast. Spacious rooms however the ensuits are a little small and the sensor toilet seat is a bit annoying. Would stay again

    This historic hotel exudes elegance from the inside out. We actually didn’t realize its importance until a few days in and noticed tour groups constantly stopping by to take photos of the beautiful facade. But it’s what’s on the inside that counts and this hotel has a lot of heart. From little touches in the room like umbrellas and robes to the kind staff always eager to please, we had an outstanding stay. Wang the concierge is a superstar!The location is excellent for sightseeing with lots of food and shopping nearby plus the metro too. WiFi is spotty but that was the only downside. Overall we had a most memorable stay and will definitely be back!

    The Shanghai Park Hotel is an architectural building, rich in history and charm designed by Slovak architect Ladislav Hudec. Its classic design and heritage make staying here a special experience. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, though they show some signs of age and would benefit from investment and refreshment. Breakfast is tasty with a nice variety, but the dining area can get overcrowded, and guest flow is not well managed. Overall, it’s a unique stay for those who appreciate history, but with some improvements, it could shine even brighter😉

    Had a lovely stay for 9 days at the Park hotel in Shanghai, rooms were spacious, great view, breakfast downstairs had a lot of variety and overall loved the exceptional service and convenient location. Close to the bund and a lot of tourist areas. Highly recommended!
