Location

This hotel is located in the Hongqiao Development Area, the best developed area in Shanghai. It is located at the crossroads of Hongxu Road and Wuzhong Road and in the neighbourhood of Caohejing and Xinzhuang. It enjoys easy accessibility and is approximately 6 km from the centre of Xujiahui.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 244 rooms located in a 12-storey main building and a 3-storey auxiliary building. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift.     Musty Smell and cigarettes!

    We stayed for four nights at the hotel and we do not recommend it for the following reasons: 1. the lobby smells like cigarettes, the staff allows bones to work in the bathroom on the first floor.2. the cleanliness of the rooms is not good.3. in the rooms there is a strong musty smell!

    The hotel itself very beautiful. With historical artifacts, design and atmosphere. The room was huge, really can feel relaxed and comfortable. The only downside is the service. Nobody informed the time of breakfast, and during breakfast didn’t assist the guest to table and ask coffee or tea. For a five star hotel at least must have a good service.

    Twice problems with the room

    I stayed for 5 nights and was a bit disappointed ...After 3 nights the airco broke and all of a sudden water dropped down from the ceiling.No problem, changed room at 1 in the morning.In the new room the remote control went nuts ....No way to close the curtains ....WIFI: SLOW !!!!

    We stayed here whilst visiting an expo at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.Its not that close-by (approx RMB55 taxi fare/20 mins) but many other visitors also used this hotel, and it was probably the best hotel in the areaThe standard room offered to us was equivalent to a small apartment! It was clean, service was good and so was the restaurant food. Absolutely no complaints, just the opposite delighted with our choice and the price PS - Not sure why it's called a boutique hotel as it's large!

    Stayed here for three nights on a business trip.Hotel lobby is impressive.Checking was slow.Rooms are big, mine smelled of smoke even though non smoking.The carpet was yuk. I kept my shoes on.Breakfast was a great choice of food. Chinese and western.Bar is small and expensive.
