Facility

59 rooms are located on 20 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     The hotel was perfectly clean and very easy to locate even when our maps weren't working. It's in a fantastic location on Nanjing Walking Street, near everything you might need and two great Metro stations.We did have to ask them about the aircon which was pumping heat out even on the lowest setting, but it is set centrally and was set to 'warm' (it was the end of March - everyone was wearing a coat except us!) - so we turned it off and the room cooled nicely.We'd stay there again in a heartbeat. It's not the newest place in the world but it is perfectly decent.

    Dirty Smelly Centralized Location Old Hotel at Nanjing Road, Shanghai

    It was so lucky that we only check in 1 night at this hotel. It was a heart stopping experience. Firstly when we walked into the room, we discovered black unremovable stains on the bath tub. Secondly we discovered black and white dirty stains also on the wash basin. Thirdly, when we needed to use the toilet, some cockroaches came out of nowhere and scared us to death! Fourthly, there was a huge strong stench coming out of the drainage / sewerage pipe that we swear we wouldnt stay at such a horrible place again. The only saving grace of this hotel was the centralized location. Other than that, dont even come even if its free of charge.

    Best located hotel in Shanghai

    The location of this hotel is its best point. Otherwise pretty ordinary hotel. Very old property without much maintenance. The reception is at the 7th floor. The receptionist can speak a bit of English. So that is a good point. The breakfast is a pretty ordinary one. The rooms are of good size but the furnitures are dated. In the month of October there was no AC. So one need to open the window at night. The hotel is located at East Nanjing Road. You can get HOHO bus just in front of the hotel. Plenty of shopping opportunities. Bund is 15 minutes walk away. It could have been a much better hotel had it been renovated and equipped with modern furnitures and maintained.

    Nice hotel perfectly located at People Square. If location is your priority pick this one. Rooms are clean but furnitured is a bit old and would need to be upgraded. Higher rooms are smaller than lower level. Breakfast is not great and staff at restaurant is not necessary friendly

    Seventh Heaven Hotel, for the price vs quality is the best option in East Nanging Road, and I know this area quite well...Roons are very decent for a chinese budget hotel and the free breakfast is very welcome.The staff speaks fluent english, which is not very common for hotels of this category in China.I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in a "China travel saving mode".
