  You won’t sleep

  Hotel is next to a noisy, open-air club that BLASTS music until 3am. Horrible experience. Didn’t sleep one night until after 3. Hotel or police don’t seem to care. This isn’t a little background noise. Your room sounds like you are inside of a nightclub.

  I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. While the structure is a bit old bitthe rooms are excellent and the service vey good. I enjoyed their breakfast with a variety of selections and the general ambiance as well.

  I stayed at this property last summer, and enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay. After one night in February 24, I will not return. I would like to attach photos to demonstrate the total decline of this property. The lack of response from management was appalling. This has place has declined to a ghetto motel. I could describe in detail, but I think pictures would more accurately identify some of the issues. There are many nice hotels in Barranquilla. Do yourself a favor and choose one.

  Good hotel but wifi access needs improving

  This is a good hotel in Barranquilla. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast is great and its also affordable and in a great location in downtown, within walking distance to many restaurants. The only challenge is the Wifi connection - this could be greatly improved to make this into a truly great hotel experience

  I have throughly enjoyed my stay at the Bqlla Plaza, to the point that I’ve extended my stay twice. I initially booked for two nights and decided to spend the first half of my vacation here. The staff is friendly, professional, and very attentive, the facility is exceptional for anyone from the tourist to the businessperson. As a veteran special events director I was especially appreciative of the level of quality exhibited on a wedding held on the grounds. Top that off with the ambiance of the pool area and the beautiful, full buffet, including eggs cooked to order, and you’ve got the makings of a memory. Can’t recommend them highly enough- special shout outs to Wilbur in the lounge and Kareme at the front desk!
