Top Choice for Hotels in Barranquill

I’ve stayed at several hotels in Barranquilla, and without a doubt, this one is the best. I hadn’t had the chance to stay here before, but I was truly impressed. Being able to sleep more than six hours straight is a clear sign that the mattress and pillows are top quality — just like at home. I even told the front desk about it when I checked out.Another thing I loved is the bathroom amenities — they go above and beyond what other hotels of the same level in the city offer. The only small issue was a slight vibration from the fridge that made some noise, but it didn’t bother me at all. I slept very peacefully.Later, I traveled to Medellín and stayed at a hotel of the same category from another chain, and the difference was obvious — I couldn’t rest nearly as well.This will definitely be my go-to hotel in Barranquilla. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

No good air circulation in the rooms

If you have any type of respiratory problems stay away from this property. The air circulation was not existent. I felt the room was very low in oxygen. It was hard to breathe. Windows dont open and the room is quite dark. The room also has a musky smell. The service was good and location was great.

End of the year at Movich Barranquilla.

Came with family to spend end of the year at Barranquilla, Movich hotel. Found overall service quite poor. Cleaning is an issue to improve too. Food is good but very slow service. Lack of management. Pool service, the worst. Not recommended at all.End of the year party happened at the pool terrace, next day the area was really dirty and there was not sign to clean it. For the money paid this hotel is not really recommended. The facilities are getting old and need to be updated. Positive things, very good spot, good beds and rooms, nice and very kind people. The hotel need better management.

End of the year at Movich Barranquilla

Very well located hotel. Staff were really kind and helpful. The facilities are not too good though, the hotel is getting deteriorated and cleaning is not priority. We stayed for the end of the year and party happened at the swimming pool terrace, next day, the area was not well cleaned. Not sure if it is lack of management, but it seems the hotel is lack of personnel. Food was really good.
