This is an extremely budget hotel. It has no heating or AC in the rooms and everything is very old and worn. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from adjoining rooms.......everything. The beds are extremely uncomfortable with paper thin pillows and paper thin towels. There was only one towel provided for two guests. The hotel will try to charge you the 19% tax even when you show your passport stamp to prove you are exempt. They'll claim not to know anything about it despite their legal obligation to ensure they don't charge this tax to non Colombians. We had to go to our credit card company to get the money back. The breakfast is mostly home made and that's the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. We regret that this situation was not communicated or resolved in a timely manner during your stay.With respect to the 19% VAT, it is important to clarify that our property is registered as tourist housing. Under current Colombian regulations, this type of accommodation does not qualify for VAT exemption, even for foreign guests with a migration stamp. This information is duly communicated across our sales channels and official communications. The application of this tax strictly follows the legal framework and is not a discretionary decision by the hotel. My recent experience at 84DC of the many times that I have stayed there!

My favorite and only place to stay when I travel to Bogotá, Colombia! The hotel is conveniently located near great shopping centers, a grocery store across the street, restaurants all around within walking distance and much more! The hotel personal is friendly, helpful and welcoming! The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast buffet style is great and offers a variety of foods, fruits, breads and beverages. A little gem in the center of Bogota

A small and comfortable hotel on a quiet street in the center of Bogota, close to everything - restaurants, shopping, supermarkets. Amazing hotel, area is very beautiful, it’s safe and very close to the main attractions. I have absolutely loved breakfast, the cook you eggs in the way you prefer and the rest of the things is great as well! Room is big and spacious and the design is unique!
