  Stayed here as the budget option on a destination wedding where most stayed around the corner at Four Seasons or Sofitel. This hotel has its peculiarities. Completely swathed in a perforated metal screen, so no views. Almost comical route to the gym - up one set of elevators, across the rooftop bar and down another elevator bank. Likewise no street level hotel access - have to go up and down an escalator to the parking level. Lobby is on floor 2. Two walls of the shower in our room were opaque glass. Not for every guest. Generous and varied buffet breakfast and friendly genuine service were the highlights.

  Extremely Disappointing Stay-Waste Money

  My experience at the AC Hotel Bogotá was a complete disaster from start to finish. The front desk was poorly managed, and the staff’s English comprehension was minimal, making even basic communication difficult.The photos online are completely misleading — the lobby is tiny, nothing like the sleek, spacious images shown on Marriott’s site. The rooms are dark, windowless, and blocked with no outside view, giving the impression of being trapped in a jail cell rather than a premium hotel.For a property carrying the Marriott brand, this was far below expectations in both service and quality. Definitely not recommended for business or leisure travelers — Bogotá offers far better hotels with genuine hospitality and transparency.

  Disappointing and Unsafe Experience | Mold

  We were shocked to find our room in such poor condition. My mother arrived late at night and went to sleep despite noticing an unusual odor. The next morning, I immediately recognized the smell of mildew and discovered that both the pillows (that she slept on) and blinds were covered in mold.When I raised this with the hotel, I was told no refund would be issued (not allowing us to leave to a different hotel). The only concession offered—after I pushed—was free breakfast, and we were moved to a lower floor rather than given a proper solution. Unfortunately, my mother has been unwell since sleeping on the mold-contaminated bedding.This was not only disappointing service but a clear health hazard. I would strongly caution other travelers before booking here.

  Brilliant hotel in an exciting location of Bogota

  My family & I had a most memorable experience I this hotel. From checking in to the end, we were welcomed by a super friendly staff who immediately made us feel at home. Every member of the staff was gracious. But all of us were incredibly impressed by Ignacio, Tatiana, Andres, & Jessica who treated as if we were family. The breakfast selection was delicious. And, of course, the Colombian coffee was superb. This hotel is already chosen as a favourite in our list of places to return to.
