Reception staff and checking people are extremely rude probably they have hard time speaking English the manager is rude. Probably the reason other stuff at checking our rude and careless. it was not horrible. It was a comfortable room.

Severalof the light switches in the room did not work.They automatic blinds were not operableThere was no plug over the mini bar where the coffee machine was located. You had to move the coffee machine across the living room area of the suite to make coffee.It was a beautiful room, very very spacious. It just had technical difficulties with electrical outlets and set up. The Casa Dan Carlton is a hidden gem in Bogota. Although I have never been here before, I am well traveled enough to recognize true beauty when I see it. Not only does Casa Dann give the culture of Colombia a good review, but it inspires people of higher cultural understandings, to salute casa Dann, family-originated hotel for its respectful treatment and presentation of Colombian art and culture.comfortable with a reasonable usually accessible rooftop view, Casa Dann providesa spa experience in a wealthy yet accessible neighborhood, an introduction to Colombian cuisine and pre-Colombian art, a restaurant and a buffet daily breakfast, as well as live musicians from Tuesday through Saturday nights. This hotel is a 3.5 star property and we had a 2.5 star experience. The pros: it’s in a good location and has the elements of a grand, upscale hotel. Also, the gym is nice and the pool and roof area are good very good. The cons: it’s run down with a ton of deferred maintenance and has very smelly plumbing problems (management addressed this by spraying deodorizer in the hallway of our floor and leaving the door to the fire escape open 24/7). Also, the breakfast buffet is legit terrible food and apathetic service. I expect there are much better options in Bogota.
