We loved our 5 night stay at Hotel BH Bicentenario! We felt completely safe with the extra layers of security, the location was absolutely perfect for walking to restaurants and shops, and we never had trouble getting an uber when we needed to venture to more distant parts of the city. Juan Diego at reception was so helpful and efficient (with perfect English) and we found the common spaces to be chic yet inviting. Breakfast had a variety of choices and we appreciated that it opened very early as we were able to eat before our tours began. Our room was large and sleek; we especially loved the floor-to-ceiling windows with the electric shade. We did hear city noise, as this is a vibrant part of Candelaria, but it was never enough to keep us awake. The shower was awesome with great pressure and plenty of hot water, the mini fridge was perfect for storing some light bites, and the bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows. Highly recommend!

No heating or cooling system in this hotel!

This hotel does not have a heating and air conditioning system! Freezing cold rooms. A lot of noise from the street, day and night. Humble breakfast. The front desk manager, Andrea is a nasty person: I had informed the hotel of my early check-in request when I booked the room but, upon my arrival she insisted that I pay for an extra night. Also, she did not offer more blankets when I complained to her about the freezing cold temperature of the room. All in all, a trible experience.

We have heaters for guest use. Check-in time is 3 pm. However, arrivals after 6 am are handled as early check-in. Good location, but very basic hotel (not more than 3 stars I would say). Incredibly noisy! Breakfast very limited. Nice staff but not very helpful

They never provided a confirmation so I went ahead and booked with another hotel. I checked my spam folder - there was never an email sent. No text, whatsapp or phone call either.Of course they still ended up charging my credit card.This hotel is in a decent location, so I will give them that at least.

Nice hotel, good bed and blackout blinds and surprisingly quiet. Coffee and tea provided in the room. However housekeeping do not restock any used items such as coffee, soap etc and you have to pay for more. Breakfast is not free it is 55,000.
