Absolutely unacceptable experience at Radisson Bogotá. I booked through Hotels.com with a confirmed online reservation of approximately US$225. At check-in, they suddenly demanded approximately US$260, blaming their exchange rate.I refused to accept the explanation and asked for the manager. Instead of correcting the charge, the manager gave me the same ridiculous excuse and insisted on the higher amount. After arriving with a confirmed reservation, I was basically forced to pay if I wanted to check in.From my perspective, this felt like being robbed at check-in. You cannot confirm one price online and then demand more money once the guest arrives and has little choice. I will be disputing the overcharge with my credit-card company and reporting this to Hotels.com and Radisson Corporate.A hotel carrying the Radisson name should be embarrassed to treat customers this way. Be extremely careful and verify exactly what they charge you.

Ok, mattress a little hard but ok, we had a Suite with Livingroom and kitchen, great buffet breakfast, excellent staff and easy to get Hotel Taxis

The staff were great. Breakfast was great. Room was big. Be sure to take bed sheet & pillow sheet. Theirs is not clean. If your room is against the street, you will be up by the noise around 4:00a.m. The mattress is made of iron cast & it is not comfortable. Someone complained there is no air condition, the weather in Bogota will be maximum 70F ( 15 -16C ), so you don't need air condition or fan. We booked premium room & don't know what did we have that a regular room didn't.

WE chose this hotel only because of its Long-term stay options and an apart-hotel kind of vibe. However this turned out to be nothing like a classic Radisson and overall experience was less than expectations. Though this dated hotel is starting to show its wear and tear, during my stay here, I was impressed by the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. If not for the Sweet staff (especially the Front office staff), I would have given this property a less than 3 stars!LOCATION:Situated in the Chapinero district, the hotel is within walking distance of popular shopping centers like Andino and El Retiro, as well as a variety of restaurants and cafes. This prime location made it easy to explore the vibrant city of Bogotá.DINE + DRINK:The complimentary breakfast offered a variety of options, catering to different tastes and dietary needs. Additionally, the hotel's central location made it convenient to explore nearby attractions and dining options.ROOM: We stayed in Room 832, so this review is based on that; SIZE: Spacious enough for 2 adults and simple baggage; VIEW: Sweet views of the city and the mountains from lovely big windows ; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part of putting us to sleep; BATHROOM:Good sized bathroom with a Stand-in shower; TOILETRIES: Good Radisson branded toiletriesFACILITIES: Very decent Gym with a full range of weights and Cardio machines, though most of them were quite old and dated! Stayed in the hotel for 1 night. The good- Hotel is centrally located- Rooms are old fashioned but bigThe bad- Hotel does not give you the feeling you're welcome. In the kitchenette some items were provided in the fridge, charge for a bottle of water is 15K Cop, while a local beer was 9K COP - really?
