  Sadly lacking

  23 Feb 2026

Poor housekeeping, and maintenance, in a good looking hotel, I’m a good location, with good staff at front desk and restaurant. At 3pm we reported a plugged sink. After speedy attention we assumed the problem was resolved but dressing for a dinner engagement much later found the sink still plugged. After considerable effort we either had to repack and move or permit a crew with drill and hoses. A 1/2 bottle wine (without corkscrew!) was the only compensation. Totally disappointed after 3 years visiting Colombia and decades around world. Three star hotel masquerading as five stars

  25 Dec 2024

The Dann Carlton Bucaramanga is a beautiful hotel centrally located. However, first impressions can be deceiving and the lack of attention to details will certainly disappoint you. The price for room is around $100/night which is on the pricier side for Bucaramanga. Upon entering the hotel you will be received with a complementary Jamaican flower drink. But your perceptions of the hotel will be severely challenged once you enter your room. We had to call the reception for multiple issues, including the safe was not working, there were no hangers in the closed, and no drinking glasses in the room. The breakfast was included in the room rate. Although the breakfast was plentiful, it was just adequate. The hotel also other amenities on the top floor (pool, gym, jacuzzi). Hotel Dann Carlton Bucaramanga, Otro at Hotel Dann Carlton de Bucaramanga, responded to this review Dear Mr. Miguel,We appreciate you taking the time to share your detailed feedback through this electronic platform. We are saddened to know that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the details within the room.We value each of the points you mentioned, from the functionality of the safe, the availability of hangers and glasses in the room, to your perception of the breakfast and other services. Your feedback is essential for identifying areas of improvement and ensuring that the service we provide is always of the highest quality. We look forward to the pleasure of welcoming you again very soon, with an experience that fully meets your expectations.Sincerely,Quality Management

The staff on the rooftop restaurant, and pool were amazing. The rooftop restaurant and staff a 10 on 10. Buenísimo para grupos.

Great! We had fun. Kids and adults. Pool is well kept, is a very nice place to relax. A little bit overprice. The place is located in Cabecera, a great neighborhood to walk around. Nearby you find grocery shopping places, boutiques, and more great restaurants, and parks.
