    The Best Spontaneous Decision We Made in Cartagena

    What started as simple curiosity turned into one of the most unexpectedly wonderful experiences of our time in Cartagena.We happened to walk past this beautiful hotel and decided, completely spontaneously, to step inside and take a look. From the moment we entered, we felt genuinely welcomed. The lovely woman who greeted us was incredibly warm and gracious and offered to show us around the hotel. She eventually took us all the way up to the rooftop, where we discovered a beautiful bar with an amazing view overlooking Cartagena’s Old City.Of course, we had to stay! We enjoyed a couple of beautifully crafted drinks and a delicious appetizer while taking in the view and the wonderful atmosphere.What made the experience even more special was learning about the hotel’s focus on wellness. You can feel that philosophy in the care they put into everything, from the high-quality ingredients used in the food to the creative, thoughtfully crafted cocktails.We had absolutely no plans to come here, which somehow made the experience even better. It was one of those spontaneous decisions that turns into a favorite travel memory.Beautiful setting, wonderful hospitality, delicious food and drinks, and an unforgettable rooftop view. Sometimes the best experiences are the ones you never planned.

    Magical, memorable honeymoon experience

    Casa Carolina is by far the best, most magical hotel my husband and I have ever stayed in. We spent 4 nights here on the beginning leg of our honeymoon trip, and absolutely didn’t want to leave. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and has such a calm and tranquil atmosphere. The staff truly treat you like family and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is memorable and comfortable. When I was feeling ill one evening, the owner of the hotel made sure I had tea brought to my room and even made it a point to check up on me the following day. The rooms and surrounding areas were always so clean and well taken care of. The food and drinks were fabulous, and the rooftop pool was such a nice added bonus. I have nothing but positive things to stay about our experience and we hope to be back one day!     We had such a wonderful experience at Casa Carolina Rooftop! ??? Even though it was raining, Jessica and Richard at the rooftop bar went above and beyond with their hospitality. They made us feel so welcomed and took amazing care of us.
