    Unbelievable Amazing stay

    rating13 Apr 2026

We arrived and were welcomed with an amazing fruit drink. Christian, Martin were amazing, so helpful. This hotel takes you back in time. The spanish architecture is stunning. Such a lovely experience.Every morning we had an amazing free breakfast. The pool was beautiful, so peaceful we were the only ones using. Felt like this was our own house to use. They make you feel number one. If you’re looking for a quaint, charming 5 star experience then you need stay here when you visit Cartagena. My husband and I will return for sure. Many thanks to everyone making our stay so enjoyable. Absolutely loved my stay here — a clear 5-star experience

    rating06 Apr 2026

The historic building is beautiful and full of character, and at the same time everything has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The common areas are cozy and perfect for relaxing. My room was quiet and very comfortable — a great place to rest after a day in Cartagena. The rooftop pool is fantastic, especially in the heat. But what really made this place special were the people: the staff are super, super friendly and made me feel welcome from the very first moment. A perfect mix of charm, comfort, and great hospitality. Not a great room

    rating18 Feb 2026

Casa del Coliseo has a wonderful location in the Cartagena walled city.Service was excellent, particularly from the reception staff who were super helpful and friendly. The turndown service was an unexpected bonus.Sadly, our room (103) felt like the worst of the “superior with views” category – it was small and the view was extremely limited. It was also right under the breakfast area and kitchen, so every morning we were woken up at 6am by staff preparing breakfast. The bathroom would flood every time we showered, as the drain couldn’t cope with the water flowing through. Hotel Boutique Casa Del Colsieo, Atención al huésped/Recepción at Hotel Boutique Casa del Coliseo, responded to this review Dear Mr. London,Thank you very much for sharing your experience at Casa del Coliseo. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed our privileged location in Cartagena’s walled city and that our reception team made you feel welcome with their attentive service. It is also wonderful to hear that you appreciated the turndown service as an added touch during your stay.We are truly sorry, however, that your room did not meet your expectations. We regret the inconvenience caused by the limited view, the early morning noise from the breakfast area, and the issue with the bathroom drainage.Your feedback is invaluable, and we will be reviewing these points with our team to ensure improvements are made. Our goal is always to provide our guests with a comfortable and memorable stay, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future to offer you a room that better suits your preferences.Warm regards,Cristian Bedoya S.Guest Service Team
