We arrived and were welcomed with an amazing fruit drink. Christian, Martin were amazing, so helpful. This hotel takes you back in time. The spanish architecture is stunning. Such a lovely experience.Every morning we had an amazing free breakfast. The pool was beautiful, so peaceful we were the only ones using. Felt like this was our own house to use. They make you feel number one. If you’re looking for a quaint, charming 5 star experience then you need stay here when you visit Cartagena. My husband and I will return for sure. Many thanks to everyone making our stay so enjoyable.

The best hotel experience I’ve ever had! From the room cleaning service to the breakfast and the concierge (who gave fantastic Cartagena recommendations), everything was executed flawlessly. It was incredibly easy to feel at home. 100% recommended!

Absolutely loved my stay here — a clear 5-star experience

The historic building is beautiful and full of character, and at the same time everything has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The common areas are cozy and perfect for relaxing. My room was quiet and very comfortable — a great place to rest after a day in Cartagena.The rooftop pool is fantastic, especially in the heat. But what really made this place special were the people: the staff are super, super friendly and made me feel welcome from the very first moment. A perfect mix of charm, comfort, and great hospitality.

Casa del Coliseo has a wonderful location in the Cartagena walled city.Service was excellent, particularly from the reception staff who were super helpful and friendly. The turndown service was an unexpected bonus.Sadly, our room (103) felt like the worst of the “superior with views” category – it was small and the view was extremely limited. It was also right under the breakfast area and kitchen, so every morning we were woken up at 6am by staff preparing breakfast.The bathroom would flood every time we showered, as the drain couldn’t cope with the water flowing through.
