    Genuinely, perfection.

    rating11 Apr 2026

I recently stayed for eight nights at the Delirio Hotel in the Walled City in Cartagena. Cartagena is a city I already love, but my stay this time at the Delirio made it absolute perfection. The hotel was literally everything I could have wanted in a hotel there. It was the ideal location in the middle of the Walled City and, surprisingly, there was no noise to keep my up at night, despite being the Centro and my room overlooking the street. My room was bright, cheerful and impeccably clean with truly stunning views from the balcony - I had a panoramic view of the beautiful rooftops of the Centro and a multitude of stunning, colorful rooftop gardens, as well as the Catedral. It was pure heaven to sit at the table on the balcony and work from there (excellent wi-fi). I also felt totally safe, which was important to me as a female traveling alone. Absolutely everyone on the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly at all times - definitely lifting the experience to a higher level. I really wish I'd known about this hotel during previous stays in Cartagena.

Amazing experience at the Delirio Hotel

    rating18 Nov 2025

The Delirio Hotel delivered above our expectations. Firstly, the staff created the first impression of friendliness, and were ready to help with any questions we had. A special mention to the kitchen staff, who were always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with fruit, cereal, fresh juices, eggs, omelettes, and croissants. Our room was clean and our little balcony provided us with a magical view of the world passing by beneath us, while we sipped a glass of wine before heading out to dinner. The bed was comfortable and the shower amazing. The location within the walled city is perfect, and attractions and restaurants are all easily walkable. Gerencia Delirio Hotel, at Delirio Hotel, responded to this review Dear Anne G.Thank you so much for allowing us to exceed your expectations. It was an honor to serve you. The Delirio team sends you warm greetings and heartfelt gratitude for your kind words. We hope to have the honor of welcoming you back to your home away from home in Cartagena.

    Great Hotel & Friendly Staff!

    rating06 Sept 2025

The location of the hotel is amazing if visiting Cartagena. Very walkable to all local tourist spots we wanted to visit! Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly, I don’t know Spanish very well and thankfully a couple of the staff knew some English well to translate. The room is a bit on the small side, but that’s because we chose the one with the terrace view. Otherwise A/C worked great for the hot temps, and we had no issues staying here! Breakfast was simple, and met our needs for the 5 nights we stayed here. Would 100% recommend to a friend for the price and location! ALEXA MARIA JIMENEZ PEREZ, Director General at Delirio Hotel, responded to this review Dear Mss Road,Thank you so much!
