  Cockroach infestation

  Our stay began on a positive note. The property is attractive, and the staff was welcoming upon arrival. We were offered a paid upgrade to an ocean-view suite, which we accepted.Unfortunately, shortly after settling in, we noticed small cockroaches in the room. On the first day, we saw a couple. While concerning, we initially tried to be understanding. However, the issue persisted into the second day. At that point, my husband expressed serious concern and suggested we consider moving to another hotel.We chose to remain for our final night since we were departing the following day. However, when we returned from our activities on the third evening, we encountered a significant number of cockroaches in the room , approximately 8 to 12 visible at once. This was clearly beyond an isolated occurrence and suggested a larger infestation issue.We immediately contacted the front desk. By the time staff arrived, the insects had retreated, but the experience itself was extremely distressing. We were transferred to another room, though this occurred at the very end of our stay.When we requested to speak with a manager that evening, we were informed none was available. The only compensation offered was reimbursement for a short taxi ride (approximately $5) to the nearby boat departure point, which did not address the severity of the situation. The following morning, we were told the manager was in a meeting and were asked to submit our concerns via email. We did so and have not received a response.While the property has potential and the staff was generally polite, the presence of cockroaches in an upgraded suite ,especially in those numbers , is unacceptable at any price point.   Modern, stylish Hotel with breathtaking views

  The hotel was absolutely fantastic! It is worth paying a little extra to receive sea view, but honestly the views are BREATHTAKING wherever you are - at the rooftop pool, the restaurant, the Skybar or even the lobby (which sits on floor 15). The rooms were very clean, modern and spacious. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. The old town is just a 20min walk (or 20min drive) away.   Fantastic view, great breakfast, excellent location. Also very noisy room, as in we could hear the people snoring next door, loud music a few doors down, and lots of activity in the hallway. Wouldn't let us check out with charging us again for the room. Took a month to get our money back. Elevators didn't always work. We had to go down a floor to get on in the morning. There are better options for less.   This is big hotel with full of nice people working here. But over all I fontti recommend this. Colombia is my 145 country and this hotel is not good over all.   Location and view of the ocean was Great.

  I thought the room and hotel was good. The view of the ocean was amazing especially in the morning.
