Convenient location, nice enough pool
31 Mar 2018
I stayed alone at Astra Suite for a week and it was a good stay. The rooms are very basic, but fine. The air conditioning worked well and the pool was also fine. I enjoyed reading on the beach across the street in the afternoons. The biggest draw is that the hotel is within close walking distance to the walled city. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and I would stay here again. Nice enough value for the $$. We had a wonderful experience at this place, if you're looking for peace and quite then this is the place you want to be at. Great attention to the guests. Beach front and away from street vendors from breathing down your neck trying to sell you something compare to other places where we stayed. Walking distance to the city with great views as you walk to the city. Will stay here every time I come visit Cartagena. WE LOVED STAYING AT THIS PLACE. The mattresses were a little to hard for us but we recommended to change them for softer ones to management.
