Don’t go for food
19 Feb 2025
Located in the Aquacatala district southeastern part ok the city. Staff - ok. A distance from Bolivar square, contemporary art museum and Comuna 13. Rooms spare, little hot water. Breakfast is pretty bad. Dinner below average. Service slow. A good option

Nice hotel, good location, friendly staff, rooms are nice abd comfortable maybe better options for same price. Food is expensive. Biggest pain is you can’t charge food to the room. You always have to carry your credit card and pay as you consume. Estelar Medellin, Owner at Estelar Square, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are happy to know that the location and service met your expectations. We value your observations, which allow us to take corrective actions to guarantee an excellent experience for our guests. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. IT IS NOT SAFE FOR AMERICANS!
13 May 2024
I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Despite visiting Medellin numerous times without incident, my experience at this establishment was utterly horrifying. While sitting in front of the hotel, the police approached me, claiming to smell marijuana and attributing something on the ground to me that wasn't mine. They threatened to take me to prison unless I handed over all my money. They then proceeded to rob me of 1,600,000 COP directly from my bag, leaving me helpless and terrified. Disturbingly, no one from the hotel intervened or offered assistance. This place is not safe—avoid it at all costs. Estelar Medellin, Owner at Estelar Square, responded to this review Dear guest,Thank you for visiting us and rating our services. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during your stay. Regarding your comment, the respective investigation was carried out and in the cameras it is not possible to appreciate what happened with the police, as you report. It is important to note that this did not happen inside the hotel, it happened outside. We are sorry for your bad experience in the city, however, it is something that we as a hotel cannot control. which is why we recommended you report the situation to the nearest police station, however you flatly refused to do so.We reiterate our apologies and commitment to serve you again.Cordially,Carlos QuesadaGeneral manager

Great location and nice facilities
05 Oct 2023
I enjoyed my stay here and I think the location was perfect. It’s on a less touristy street, so there are no crowds and no people on the streets soliciting passersby, which is the case in most of the touristy and busy areas in Medellin. There’s easy and quick access to the Santafe Mall and to some of the more popular areas in Poblado. Estelar Medellin, Owner at Estelar Square, responded to this review Dear Guest, We want to thank you for choosing to stay with us and for taking the time to review us. Your opinion is very important to us. We are glad to know that he enjoyed our services. We strive every day to provide an exceptional experience to our guests and your positive comments motivate us to continue improving. We reiterate our commitment to serve you again.
