  We stayed beginning of February. This hotel was surprisingly great , Hampton is usually 'budget' hotel but i could not find a thing wrong about the hotel:)The location is pretty good and safe, there is 2 malls close by so many places to eat.The room was basic , had what it needed.The breakfast was pretty good, many options.We did not check the jacuzzi so can not comment on that.The guy that checked us in gave amazing attention ( i did not get the name sorry.Overall it is a nice hotel!

  A Great Stay at the Hampton by Hilton Medellin...Highlighted by the Exceptional Team

  A wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton Medellin highlighted by the friendly and professional staff. From the moment I arrived until the moment of leaving, the staff at the front desk and members of the team were amazing. Much appreciated.The room was clean and comfortable, the WiFi was fast and stable, and breakfast was a bit above the usual Hampton breakfast. Probably the only thing that was a bit disappointing was the fitness center--functional but small and a bit out of date.The location was convenient to major shopping and restaurants, and about a 30-minute walk to a metro station. Bus and other transportation options were available right in front of the hotel.Overall, a great stay.

  Welcoming staff in new feeling hotel with great breakfast overlooking the city!!

  We arrived early and were warmly welcomed by friendly staff throughout! The hotel is super clean, new and with an amazing breakfast overlooking Medellín (best sleep we’ve had this trip, great aircon). Huge shout-out to Fernando who initially welcomed us and warmly said hello every time we crossed paths (including as he came around offering fresh local snacks throughout breakfast). Would recommend :) FYI - the 1-2km walk to El Poblado was easy and felt safe, we did each night after dinner.

  Just returned from a 4 night stay, probably would not stay there again.I am a Gold Hilton Honors level, almost Diamond, and this is the most basic Hampton Inn I have stayed in in a long time.Room is extremely basic, advertised as a Queen bed but it is actually a Full size, unacceptable for 2 adults.  Initial room assigned was on the 2ns floor, also unacceptable since I usually get upgraded, and the room contained the aforementioned Full size bed plus an extra twin bed, making the room feel cluttered and senseless for 2 people.Bathroom amenities are very basic and the worst offense is there is only one hand towel + 2 bath towels, as per the manager's information.  I had to ask daily for an additional hand towel (no face towels available.....) and it got to be very tiresome.  Apparently they must save millions of dollars with this setup...LOLStaff was wonderful and accommodating, location superb, free breakfast amazing, but I cannot help feeling they are out to penny pinch everything that has to do with the room.Probably would pick another hotel next time, forfeiting the points I get for my stay.

  Felt right at home at the Hampton Inn in El Poblado , Medellin !

  A special thank you to Manuela, Xiomara, Estefania, Victoria, Fernando and the rest of the Hilton staff! They all made our vacation very special by being welcoming, hospitable, polite and helpful. We have stayed at many Hilton properties in different countries, and this was the first time that we truly felt like a valued Hilton Honors Gold members!!From the moment we checked in, we knew our stay was going to be a memorable one. From housekeeping to bar and food service, front desk, maintenance; they all went out of their way to assist us and accommodate our needs. They are truly an example not just for the Hilton brand but for the hospitality industry in general.Corporate should take notice of this specific property in their training of new personnel as in my opinion they should be the standard of excellence for the Hilton chain worldwide. My only suggestion would be for bar and food service to be computerized to ease the flow of orders. We will be back!
