As a travel critic, I'm always intrigued by new openings in El Poblado. The Lettera Hotel, which opened its doors relatively recently, is one of those interesting bets that combines residential tranquility with the vibrant nightlife of the area. This art deco boutique hotel is, above all, a zen retreat in the city. Its strong point is the atmosphere: the common areas like the garden and terrace are very well kept, perfect for a morning coffee or an evening wine.* Pros: Its location in El Poblado is strategic, close to Provenza and Parque Lleras. The staff is extremely helpful and the rooms are spotless.* Cons: Being new, the public transportation nearby is limited, so you'll depend on taxis or ride-hailing platforms. Also, its atmosphere is so intimate that it might not offer the bustle some look for in a hotel.* Recommendations: Don't miss the bar-lounge, ideal for a welcome cocktail. If you're looking for a party, explore the surroundings and return to the hotel to rest.Suitable for groups? Definitely yes. Although the hotel isn't massive, it features two modern event and meeting rooms, perfect for business groups or small celebrations

Room was nice and so was the hotel. The don’t speak English though! I met one hotel staff member who knew a tiny bit of English. The food was mid and the stuff there available to serve is constantly changing. Otherwise good hotel.

Hotel in the trees

Wow a great first 2 days of our Colombia tour in this hotel! Rooms small but clean and great views. Staff great and helpful. Good breakfast and tehy have a small bar with an attentive mixologist. Sits on a quiet dead end street with lots of forest surrounding it. But walking distance to nightlife and restaurants, bars close by. Be prepared for a cab back to hotel, its uphill all the way.

Cozy Hotel with Great Cleanliness but Some Drawbacks
15 Nov 2025
The hotel has many positive aspects. The rooms are large and very clean, and the hotel has a cozy atmosphere in a high-class area that made me feel at home. The garden and lobby are beautiful, and overall safety feels very good. However, there are several drawbacks. There is no sound isolation, so you can hear people in the corridor clearly. The breakfast is very poor, some staff were unfriendly, and the rooms lack maintenance. There are no complimentary water or amenities, the gym is under reconstruction, and public transport nearby is weak.

The hotel is located in a quiet and pretty area in El Poblado. Breakfast was excellent and varied. The staff was so friendly and professional they are always available to answer questions and help with the best attitude. I would like to mention some of the staff that makes our stay so pleasant. Luisa and Osiris in the front desk, Walter, Patricia in the serving food area they are so gentle and nice. Overall, Lettera Hotel is a place you can stay and will have a great experience for sure.
